Superman.

Do you have anything interesting planned for the next week?
- SCHOOL. D;
Who was the last person to text you? Do you know when that person’s birthday is?
- Jess, and it’s on the 26th of Nov.
What were you doing 4 hours ago?
- 8.30am; Sleeping.
Is there a certain song that you can’t stop listening to atm?
- Skinny Love – Birdy. But the one by Bella Ferraro on XFactorAustralia is better. (:
Tell me 3 things that your friends don’t know about you.
- I’m superstitious.
- I’m scared of ghosts.
- I can’t watch horror movies.
What is something that people often give to you as a gift?
- Ummm…notebooks and stationary, it’s so annoying.
Do you tend to hold on to a lot of stuff you don’t need, just because it has sentimental value?
- Yes, I’m such a hoarder.
Which would you prefer to receive as a gift - flowers or chocolate?
- I wouldn’t have a preference, both are equally nice.
When did you last take a shower/bath? Do you wash your hair every time?
- Took a shower yesterday night, and depends how I feel. Usually yes.
Would you prefer to be somewhere else right now?
- The beach.
Will you be going out tonight, or staying in?
- Staying in.
If you were heartbroken, who would help you pick up the pieces?
- Mum I guess. Or maybe Dad.
Apparently, it’s very common to crave chocolate around the ‘time of the month’; do you ever get that craving?
- Nope.
Did you sleep well last night?
- Pretty well. BUT, then my sister and my mum screamed at me, and I woke up. Such nice people, I know.
Is your bedroom big enough for you?
- I guess so.
Is anyone flirting with you?
- Don’t think so.
Have you ever felt pressure to do anything you didn’t want to, like smoking, drinking, or losing your virginity, before you were ready for it? If so, how did you deal with that?
- Not like that, but other things that aren’t that BIG. I usually deal with it, by sticking with my opinion, and in my mind I’ll lay out the pros and cons and evaluate. Then I might change my mind, hehe.
Do you consider yourself to be an intelligent person? Why/why not?
- Kind of. Because I make decisions others won’t.
Have you ever seen your father cry?
- OMG. HAHA, yes!
How would your parents react if you got pregnant?
- Unlikely, but probably extremely shocked and probably angry that I didn’t listen to them.
Do you/did you keep to your school’s uniform/dress code?
- Kind of, they’re quite strict.
What was the highlight of your winter?
- I don’t know!
Are you confused about anything atm? Is there anything bothering you? Or, is everything good?
- No. This is so insignificant, but I’m kind of confused as to what I’m supposed to study for Elective History and English. ):< Grrr. Otherwise, life is good. (:
If you say ‘I’ve had enough’ or ‘I’m done’, do you always mean it?
- Not always, but sometimes.
Who was the last person that invited you to their house?
- Oh wow, haven’t been to someone’s house in a couple of months.
Have your parents ever told you about any alternative names they considered for you, or the name they would have chosen, if you’d turned out to be a boy?
- Nope, because they decided AFTER I was born, strangely enough.
Have you ever had to make an emergency phone call?
- I have.
What language do you like the sound of?
- HAHA, umm, French or Mandarin I guess.
Think about the last guy, outside of family, that you had a conversation with. Do you find him sexy?
- HAHA, uhmm…
What’s the most attractive physical feature of the person you love/like?
- Not sure if I like someone.
Do you consider yourself to be a strong person? Why/why not?
- Kind of. Physically -> come on Julia, I squeezed your cream out that it shot out like Superman. And emotionally, I’ve been through a lot. (:
Do you think you look good naked?
- No. HAHA
What are you doing tomorrow?
- Sat; shopping. (:

Relatable Quote

Don't take people for granted; no matter how much they love you, people get tired.
Not sure if this is a quote but recently stumbled upon this image. (: I think this is really true and relatable to my current situation at the moment, will go into detail, and I hope this helps people. (:

I don't think people truly understand what 'taking something for granted' means. I wasn't sure either, so I called up a good friend of mine and she explained it further. Basically, it means you assume that something or someone will always be there and they'll never go away but you don't necessarily take into consideration their importance, etc. I've always done that as well, I have this girl friend in my class, who I've always taken for granted because she's always there to help me with anything, no matter if I don't talk to her one day, etc. But then one day she didn't come to school, and I needed her to help me with something, but she wasn't there. That was a point when I realised how much she means to me, and I should hold her more closely. Needless to say, we've kind of apart now, but I'm trying really hard to keep her closer and not take her for granted.

Okay, so this is my situation I've been in for the past couple of months.

Basically a really close and good friend of mine is going through some hard times. I understood that and respected it, so I wanted to give her some space. Oh by the way, if she's reading this, that's cool bro, just want you to realise something I can't tell you, hehe. So weeks went by, and she wasn't as talkative and was always having late nights and when I asked her if she was okay, she just said she was tired and didn't really want to talk. Okay, so being me, I kinda got a bit upset over it, I mean, how much time does this girl need to take?

It was obvious that she didn't really want to share whatever was going on with me, because she kept whatever it was away from me, but I heard her telling teachers, other friends about it. So obviously I started thinking, hey there could be something wrong. It felt like she was just being with me, for the sake of knowing someone is there. I would talk to her, you know, make her feel more happy whatever was making her unhappy. But soon, it felt like talking to a cold hard brick wall. Whatever she was holding inside was obviously bothering her, and I really didn't want to ask her about it and seem nosy. I was getting tired. It was as if I was the one trying really hard to keep our little relationship going, because really, she is a really good friend.

So one day, we were walking, and it was silent. I mean silent, we used to have heaps to talk about. So I strike up a conversation as usual, to try and keep everything normal. And I ask her a 'what if' question, which  turned into scenarios. So then after a while I was like: "what if I died. what would you do?"

And she paused and was like: "I would cry." Now that got me thinking. If I meant so much to her, why doesn't she show it. That's when I realise she was taking me for granted. She knows at the end of the day, I'll be there for her, because I love her and everything. BUT, to tell the truth, I'm getting tired. I'm getting tired of whatever this 'game' is, whatever is holding her back.

So I'm giving up, I've been just letting things take into their own hands. I'm just letting go slowly, I mean if she can't be bothered to keep our friendship together, well I'm pretty sure it means that we're just another two strangers again. There's nothing to keep together except memories.

Okay so now that I'm at the end of the post, and I'm pretty sure that girl is going to know I'm talking about her. If you do read this, please just talk to me, because really, I'm just confused and I have no idea how I'm supposed to tell whatever I just typed up, to you. So we should talk. Just saying. And in the case I get this all wrong and messed up, please tell me what's going on, I'm so tired and confused, it starting to affect my studies.

Thanks for reading, and I hope that provided some nice deep thinking for yall.

i hate it when you learn to trust someone and you hold them close, but then they keep everything from you and make you feel worthless. just makes all the trust you had in them wash away, and you just can't stand them anymore. it's like they're a whole new person. stop being so cold and learn that trust is massive in a good relationship, and if you don't trust me get the crap out of my life.

Update: Legacy Day with Starbuckss

So today was Legacy Day and so sold badges and whatnot around the CBD. Didn't sell much though. ):

We got free sandwiches and drinks, etc. Was pretty filling, so after our break went to Hyde Park and laid there. For like....a long time. Took a photo which I thought turned out super nice with Julia's camera. Also bought their $5 badge, to support them. (:

Oh and then we walked to Starbucks. And this was the first time I've ever walked into a Starbucks AND drunk Starbucks. Ever. Got the Mocha Frappeccino and bought this cheap cup. (:

OH, and another side note, became badminton vice captain yesterday, woohoo! ;D No other candidates, was pretty easy. (Y)

Anyways, it's getting late and my coffee is starting to wear off (I have super low tolerance to caffeine, and I'm planning to keep it that way for the time being ;P), so shall update soon. :D

Thanks for reading,

Michelle's Style | 02.09.12

EVIL GLARE HAHAHAHAHA.
shirt - jayjays | leggings - bossini | hat - jayjays | denim shirt - jayjays | bag - colette
I just realised most of my clothing in this outfit are from jayjays. Anyways, festivals are usually super hot and need to walk a lot, so wanted to wear something relatively breathable and comfy. However, did wear my boots because didn't want to wear converses. ;P Brought my hat with me because it was super sunny, and I'm so glad I brought it, could see everything without squinting, hehe.

You can't see the bracelets I'm wearing here, but they were just silver toned jewellery and this turquoise beaded one that I got for free in a magazine.

Brought my denim shirt just incase it got windy, because the weather has been kinda unpredictable lately.

Anyhoo, hoped you enjoyed, thanks for reading!

Update: Lunch && Spring Festival

So on Saturday, had a Chinese school in the morning, which was pretty cool. Talk to most of the class members now, but they're all younger than me, by a lot... BUT nevertheless, creeping them out is fun. ;D

For lunch, had a really nice sushi bento.

Oh and incase you're wondering, haven't done style posts in a while because I've been planning to do a favourite item along with how to style it, but need to fix the camera first; using my phone camera is getting tedious. Please bear with me. (:

On Sunday, went to a spring festival which was super fun. Also will do a style post on that. (:

There are these spiral potato deep fried stick things, and they're really good, so got one of those almost immediately and shared it with my sister.

Basically walked around, talked to some people and watched shows. (: Was really fun, and loved the sun, it's finally spring! ;D

And happy father's day, I gave my dad a new facial towel because he asked for a new one, and I had a lot of ideas of gifts but then I was like, there's still Christmas and his birthday to go, so I'm saving them for later. ;)

Anyhoo, will go type up my style post now, thanks for reading. (:
