I realised the last time I've done this kind of post was like last year October, so I thought new year, new post. Haha. (: So today, went out with a group of close friends and my sister to watch Life of Pi, WHICH by the way, is really good! Just super depressing haha. Anyways, so dressed super casual and comfy.

So today's weather was rather hot, so dressed accordingly. The top there is actually a hi-neck sleeveless cropped top, so I paired it with these really comfy high waisted shorts. It was also sort of windy so I also threw on a short sleeved cardigan.

As for shoes, omg, I always wear these - black socks with my converses, I don't have to think to much, I just wear them haha.

Haven't done one of these posts in a whileeee.

Today's weather was quite cool compared to the recent heatwave, and bit of a shower. So I wore this striped sweater that I bought really recently, it is so comfy and I love it so much. Because I was quite warm in my jumper I didn't want to wear jeans, so I just threw on these shorts that I didn't know I had. They're from my close friend's sister and she gave me a whole lot of clothes about 2 years ago. These shorts are just the standard frayed distressed shorts.

I recently spray painted my converses black because I was so over the blue colour. The paint keeps coming off though >:( grr. So had to add some water repellent thing on it, hope it works!

Super comfy outfit today, nothing much. I want to do a post on three ways to style this jumper, what do you think?

I just realised most of my clothing in this outfit are from jayjays. Anyways, festivals are usually super hot and need to walk a lot, so wanted to wear something relatively breathable and comfy. However, did wear my boots because didn't want to wear converses. ;P Brought my hat with me because it was super sunny, and I'm so glad I brought it, could see everything without squinting, hehe.

You can't see the bracelets I'm wearing here, but they were just silver toned jewellery and this turquoise beaded one that I got for free in a magazine.

Brought my denim shirt just incase it got windy, because the weather has been kinda unpredictable lately.

Well, will be watching a movie with Julia soon, so had to change out of my sporting gear from tennis training. Super casual outfit, not much to it. (:

Update: Archery ft. old school besties && new purchases

Today met up with my old school besties, Ashly and Barbara as well with my sister at the Sydney Olympic Archery Centre and shot some arrows. ;D It was something unique and different to experience. The session was an hour and a half, and there were instructors there as well to help us. (: It was awesome, I really like archery. ♥

Was a beautiful day. (: 

Anyhoo, afterwards, went out for lunch and did our little grocery shopping.

This really cute stationary store, Morning Glory, was having a 50% sale off everything so grabbed some stuff. (:

Was running out of liquid tape so bought this cute iPhone correction tape thing, and some bed socks because I only have one pair at home and that's not enough. ;P Plus, it was only like a dollar.

Originally really needed to get these overgrips for my tennis racquet at Kmart, but they didn't have any ): And I couldn't find any...BUT, I found other stuff that was on  my list at the time. ;D Got a black singlet because needed one, and DUMBELLS. Because I really need to workout more. HAHAHA, sharing these cheap ones with my mum. ♥

Those camis are insanely comfy for such a cheap price, hurhurhur. >: D

And got a 20% off iTunes gift card because I don't like to keep using my mum's credit card on iTunes just in case we get scammed. :D

Anyhoo, not much to say, but I have tennis coaching tomorrow and badminton with my family. ;D

Really going out these last few days of the holidays, because I realised I was so cooped up in the first week doing nothing, HAHAHAHA. And on Monday just going to chill the last hours of freedom. </3

Oh and you probably noticed my outfit of the days have kinda ceased, it's because I've been wearing my Varsity jacket to death these days because I'm too lazy to think of something nice to wear, so please excuse my laziness. ;3 And tomorrow I won't be able to do it either since I'll be in working out clothing, so I'm sorry, but ah wells.

Michelle's Style | 06.07.12 && Snow White and the Huntsman

Yeah, my sister didn't take very nice photos, but they'll have to do. (:

Put two photos, because the first one, you can see the shirt and jacket better. So this jacket, is the massively infamous varsity jacket that has hit Australia's market hard. This was the one I got in Kmart about a week ago, and it's super comfy. (: The shirt underneath has this really strange lightning bolt on it, which Julia pointed out looked like Harry Potter's scar. Which it does, lols.

Wanted to wear something super casual and comfy today for the movies, and I don't know, I added the beanie because the outfit seemed, kinda missing something.

Oh and the badges ( which you can't really see in the pictures ) were just something I wanted to add, because: 

1) I haven't really used them, since some years ago, I had an obsession with collecting badges.
2) I wanted to personalise my jacket without major snipping. (:

Anyhoo, couldn't be bothered to make a separate update post, since they'll be super short. I went to the movies with my mum and sister today, and watched 'Snow White and the Huntsman' starring Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth.

To be honest, it was alright, it was pretty cliche, but still interesting. I would've liked some more action and less monologues, because no offense, but Kristen Stewart's monologues aren't exactly inspiring. Still love her though. (:

Can't say I recommend it, but I was so sick of staying at home all week long, that I HAD to do something. (:

Anyhoo, not much to say, oh! Except I got new pairs of stockings after I ripped up my old pair. ):

Update: Trip to DFO ft. Julia && new purchases

So today, had tennis training in the morning, and tried my best to beat my coach, but failed. :P

Anyhoo, got home and changed, then went to pick up Julia ( www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com ) to go to the DFO ( direct factory outlet ) shopping centre. (: It has the cheapest crap there ever. ;P And you can pick up really nice bargains there. Oh this reminds me, I really want to go thrift shopping sometime soon. Anyways.

So we basically walked around, mainly went to our favourite stores. And I bought a pair of black cheap shorts from Cotton On since my old black shorts are starting to wear out and turning grey. It was only $5. I think it was really worth it. Tried it on in the store OVER my shorts, because couldn't be bothered to go to the changing rooms. Got many strange stares...

I tried taking a photo of them when I got home, but the lighting was horrible, and it just looked black and you couldn't see the details of the shorts.

They're really flattering, and they have this belt fabric thing that you can tie into a bow at the front. I'm so horrible at explaining, but I think you'll be seeing these in a outfit of the day post soon. :D On the tag, it says : 'Alison Tailored Shorts'. Love them already even though haven't worn them yet. (:

Oh nearly forgot, on a side note, I've already ripped my stockings, so going to get a new pair because they were really comfy. (:

Okay, so another item I got from Cotton On is a black tube/bodycon skirt. I know I bought a lotta black stuff, but really into the colour black at the moment. (: This skirt is kinda different, it's really texturised and everything. (: Didn't take a picture because of horrible lighting. Probably will see this in my outfits as well. (:

So for lunch, had this extremely filling asian cuisine thing. It was really nice though! Couldn't finish it sadly, and was really bloated afterwards.

Afterwards, headed to Westfield with Julia once again, because we ran outta things to get from DFO and wanted to get Boost Juice.

Also went to Dymocks with Julia, and she picked out some books, and I picked out a book which is a sequel to 'Bloodlines' which is so so good. And haven't read in a quite a while, and it was on sale. (:

Update: Obsession with Hats && New Jackets

So today, woke up kinda early for a Saturday, but just stayed in bed for an hour playing 'Pocket Planes' and 'Tiny Tower' on my iPod til I got up. (: It was pretty fun, just lying there. I could see the sun coming up through the curtains. Made my day.

Anyhoo, changed and went out to go grocery shopping with my family. Also grabbed some items.

I was looking for really sheer leggings/stockings or whatever you call them. :P Just got a cheap one from Woolies for half the price you would get at a retail store. It's probably going to rip soon, but ah wells.

I have a new found obsession with hats. Firstly I was obsessed with beanies, and really desperately wanted a black one. Got one and so happy with it. After that one dies I'm getting a thicker one that's not so floppy. ;) That's what she said. Anyhoo, today, I wore a hat I had for some time but only wore once which is featured in my post : http://ilikestarryskies.blogspot.com.au/2012/06/michelles-style-300612.html. Honestly, I have this temptation to take that post down because the outfit is just so boring and I don't like it that much. ;P

Oh and then today, found a $5 hat at Jayjays in the sale section. So happy with it. It's this wide brimmed black fedora hat with this ribbon bow thing. It's so nice. (: And it would help with keeping the sun outta my face AND keep my hair down when it's windy. It's winter here, but it's still amazingly sunny but chilly. :P If that makes any sense at all.

Was originally $29.99. ;D Good bargain. :D

It feels weird when I'm not wearing a hat, but yeah. (: Really into hats at the moment.

ALSO, I was eyeing a Varsity jacket in Kmart for a really long time, which is red and blue schemed. And it sold out in a week. And the price was pretty good - $19. And when it sold out, it made me sad, so I gave up finding another one, til my mum found one last week. And she took me to the store this week and BAM. There it was. So this time definitely bought it, because second chances are hard to come by. ;) Convinced my sister also to get one, but she didn't like the colour red so she got a grey and black schemed one. Personally I reckon the red and blue looks nicer. ;) I AM GOING TO PERSONALISE IT. ;D ♥

Anyhoo, not much to say, oh and sorry for not taking a picture with the jacket, forgot to. ):

Planning to go to DFO with my mum and Julia ( www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com ) tomorrow to go shopping together. Initially, we planned that Julia would come over like last week ( post here : http://ilikestarryskies.blogspot.com.au/2012/06/update-lord-of-rings-ft-julia-homemade.html ) to finish off the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy. But then changed plans just a couple of hours ago.

Oh, and it's finally the holidays! I'm so glad, means I can do a lot more things that I couldn't do when I had school because it was way to stressful to cram in all the stuff I would like to do.

And one of them is to blog more. It feels so nice to blog fully again, and that would explain my rambling. I should shut up now. (:

Today, basically wore what I did yesterday, but the weather was really good, so didn't have to wear so much. (:

Basically, today had tennis training in the morning and then went to jog even more. When I got home, I was stinky and smelly from running and training, and had to meet up with Julia ( www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com ) to find work experience, so changed into this.

I braided my hair to the side because, honestly, it didn't smell very....pleasant, not to put you off. :P But it was kinda windy and didn't want to smell my hair. Also added a beanie because I couldn't keep all my hair into the braid. Then just wore casual clothes. (: Only had 10-15 minutes to get ready so rushed. (:

So I finally have an outfit of the day. Today was really rainy and kinda wet, so did some layering. Wore my boots as well, which I did say I was going to do an outfit with. (: It was just really casual today because just went to school and came home, wanted something kinda warm.

Oh and I did get a beanie for $5 last week. It isn't as good as the other one I saw when I went shopping with Julia, but will get a new one if this one wears out. (:

Also wore my dagger earrings, but couldn't get a picture of them because they kept moving and the angles weren't right.

Update: Post-Exam Shopping ft. Julia

Hi,

So since it's after exams Julia ( www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com ) and I actually went shopping. We planned this before exams so we would have something to look forward to after exams - sorta like a treat to ourselves, if you know what I mean. ;)

We went to a super large Westfield and went to heaps of stores which most were on mid-year sales. Was really really fun! I was really excited the night before. I actually made a list of what I wanted to get, and I got some things from it. One thing I really wanted was a black beanie, but considering I had gotten a lot of things already, I didn't. But I will get one later. But still really want one. (:

For lunch, had curry chicken with rice, it was kinda cheap with the water - $6.90. (:

Not much to add, but made some hot chocolate afterwards and picked up my sister from school. (: Oh and check out her blog here: http://yukiblood.blogspot.com.au/ She's only just started, so no hate. (: ♥

So first are two tops I got from this small store called BLUE JADE. If you ever go there, make sure you know what you're getting because no refunds. Personal experience, yall.

Black and white chiffon blouse. This one was kinda pricey - $20. 

Really wanted a denim shirt, and found one in Jay Jays. They didn't have my size, they only had L or XL, and I tried on L, way too large, but I really wanted it, so I'll slightly alter it. (:

Look at how massive it is. ;P

And last but not least, got two pairs of badass looking earrings. Was looking for spiked necklaces, but I really wanted these. Plus, they were on 50% sale. (: Both were from Colette accessories.

All in all, I'm still looking for a black beanie since it is getting kinda cold and my head needs some warmth and luurrrrveee. ;) I definitely need to continue and finish my quote post which I'm finding kinda difficult to write since I have no idea how to elaborate on it, but hopefully it'll be up soon. (:

Update: Mother's Day!

Such a belated post, but finally fixed Instagram. This will basically be an update about Sunday.

So on Sunday, in the morning, gave my mum a hug and kiss along with some gifts. ♥ They were only small gifts but I didn't want to get my mum something she wouldn't like.

I got her a wardrobe scenter thing, and some heart chocolates. ♥

One was in the scent Sakura and the other I forgot. LOL. 

That day, also had tennis training and the weather was really really cold. Freezing. ): When I got home, felt like cleaning out my wardrobe so I did and now, have an entire bag of clothes that I can't fit into, or are really old that was just sitting in my closet for ages. Will be chucking those out. And I really really want to go shopping to update my wardrobe...BUT I'll have to do that after my exams as a little reward. Hopefully I deserve it. ;)

Had pho from some restaurant as lunch and when I got home, just played Fruit Ninja and chilled. That day was a really good day. Didn't do much work.

At night, worked on my history assignment and went to bed.

Update: Studded Shorts and Study Session

Last night ( on Wednesday night ) decided to finally begin studding some of my clothing. But since I didn't really have a design in mind, I went on Google images to help me have some inspiration. (: Anyhoo, only managed to stud my denim shorts. Studded the back pocket and used a pair of scissors to bend the back to hold it in.

Anyhoo, today, had badminton training nice and early in the morning. It was really fun, and hilarious. Played a lot of Fruit Ninja as well. In PD, had to present a presentation on depression which wasn't that bad, just really nerve-racking. And the fact that everyone seemed like they were going to fall asleep, did not help. Just saying, lol.

After school, had a mini study session at Westfield with Julia ( www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com ) . We actually got some work done since we promised we wouldn't play fruit ninja, or play on our phones. But I can't play on my phone anyways, so no problems there. ;D

Bought Boost Juice - I got Mini-me Mango, and also bought some Popcorn Chicken from KFC. Which was really good. ♥ So just wrote some notes and stuff for half yearly exams which are coming soon.
