Update: Yr 10 Formal

Omg, have not done an official update in such a long long time. I guess I'll upload some pictures from my formal night, because I really want to post something, sorry if you didn't want your photo to be in here xo

Basically, got ready took a long long time, and my table was completely messy. I laid out all my makeup and everything to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Here are some photos, that people keep demanding hehe. Not going to type much, I'll just let the photos do the talking. Well basically, everyone got an alternate dish, these were mine. Let's start with the food there.

Entree - greek salad

Main - risotti?

Dessert - apple something lol.
And then here are people shots.

With my man ;) I'm just kidding. x

Here is the venue.

And a photobooth picture.

That's it!

Enjoy.

Update: Legacy Day with Starbuckss

So today was Legacy Day and so sold badges and whatnot around the CBD. Didn't sell much though. ):

We got free sandwiches and drinks, etc. Was pretty filling, so after our break went to Hyde Park and laid there. For like....a long time. Took a photo which I thought turned out super nice with Julia's camera. Also bought their $5 badge, to support them. (:

Oh and then we walked to Starbucks. And this was the first time I've ever walked into a Starbucks AND drunk Starbucks. Ever. Got the Mocha Frappeccino and bought this cheap cup. (:

OH, and another side note, became badminton vice captain yesterday, woohoo! ;D No other candidates, was pretty easy. (Y)

Anyways, it's getting late and my coffee is starting to wear off (I have super low tolerance to caffeine, and I'm planning to keep it that way for the time being ;P), so shall update soon. :D

Thanks for reading,

Update: Lunch && Spring Festival

So on Saturday, had a Chinese school in the morning, which was pretty cool. Talk to most of the class members now, but they're all younger than me, by a lot... BUT nevertheless, creeping them out is fun. ;D

For lunch, had a really nice sushi bento.

Oh and incase you're wondering, haven't done style posts in a while because I've been planning to do a favourite item along with how to style it, but need to fix the camera first; using my phone camera is getting tedious. Please bear with me. (:

On Sunday, went to a spring festival which was super fun. Also will do a style post on that. (:

There are these spiral potato deep fried stick things, and they're really good, so got one of those almost immediately and shared it with my sister.

Basically walked around, talked to some people and watched shows. (: Was really fun, and loved the sun, it's finally spring! ;D

And happy father's day, I gave my dad a new facial towel because he asked for a new one, and I had a lot of ideas of gifts but then I was like, there's still Christmas and his birthday to go, so I'm saving them for later. ;)

Anyhoo, will go type up my style post now, thanks for reading. (:

Update: Swimming & Old Photos

Today was the last day for 40 hour famine, thank god, was feeling weak, sleepy and dizzy at this point, and had tennis training in the morning. Even though didn't eat anything, somehow had the energy in the beginning....but then felt super duper tired at the end. But nevertheless, craved to go swimming all of a sudden, so packed bags and went to Olympic Aquatic Centre, and swum for about 1.5 hours?

Horrible photo, hhahahaha!
Found these photos that I took last weekend, that I was supposed to blog about, no idea why I didn't.

On Saturday, mum got this $3 cheesecake from Gloria Jeans with a purchase of coffee. This HAS to be one of the best cheesecakes I've ever tried, but they are just so expensive (without the promotion :P).

On Sunday, went to Kmart, grabbed couple of cheap T-Shirts and also snagged this cheap $2 nail kit? It's smaller than it looks, the length of your pinky. ;P It's super handy, and cute.
Completely pigged myself out today, just ate a lot after my time was up. :D Felt so goooooooood. Last night, was watching my family eat delicious hot food for dinner in front of me. D:

Have a lotta tests/assignments coming up this week, gotta study!

Update: Science Prac, School Art Show, Friend's B'day & Drawings

Sorry for the long title, it's because I had a long week and haven't blogged in a while, so decided to compile all the highlights and stuff from the week. It's Saturday now. (: I can't remember all the things I did, but the photos will be in chronological order. (:

So in a science lesson, we are learning 'fighting disease'. Gruesome, and confronting but it's super interesting, in my opinion. (: So we were doing a prac on things that have bacteria, and basically we use a sterilized rod, and smear it on a dirty surface, and then wipe it over this jelly-like substance called agar, which makes bacteria grow, because it kinda 'feeds' the bacteria. Anyhoo, our group did my friend's sock, HAHAHAHA, I wonder what kind of dirty stuff would be in that - ;)

We had to heat up/burn the rods to sterilize it, and surprisingly it made this really beautiful green flame. Tried to take a picture of it but they kept burning out before my camera could focus. We burnt all of the rods and so this is the best one I could find because it had the most rods in it. ;)

It kinda looks like an aurora. ;3
On the Wednesday, there was a school art show after school hours, and so Julia ( www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com ) and Eileen to have a look. I personally, was more interested in seeing the HSC works, because I'm considering doing Visual Arts next year, and wanted to know the standards. AND, I'm reconsidering, after looking at it, it's so professionalll, holyyy.

Little sneakpeak - with Julia's body in it, hahaha ;) ♥
On Thursday, it was Jennifer's birthday, and since she transferred to another school last year, could only Facebook and text her birthday wishes. However, Julia and I both planned to give her a present on Friday because I had Matrix. So on Friday, gave her these flowers which were really eyecatching. Really liked the idea of the tie-dye rose(?) in the middle. Happy birthday again Jen! ♥

Oh! On Thursday night, started a drawing of Angelina Jolie, which was super hard and challenging, but it felt good to just concentrate on drawing, even though I didn't do much homework that night. Today, on Saturday, continued it as well, so there are two photos of progress right now. (:

Picture I'm trying to draw

Can't get her lips right - grr >:(
Today, after Chinese school, had to make an 'emergency' appointment to the dentist because I've been noticing my gum has been bleeding a lot and is swollen, and so I had to go and get it checked. Turns out I'm not brushing correctly, and it's perfectly common for people who have braces, so they gave me these really small brushes so I can brush better. Had a scare - thought it was gum disease or something, which it can turn into.

Not much to say, but really should do my English essay, but man, just can't be bothered - sigh.

Shall update again soon, making muffins with my neighbour tomorrow, hopefully can take photos of the final product. (:

Update: Musicale Night && Sport Photos

Last night, had my school Musicale performance, which was pretty awesome. We performed two pieces: 'Blackforest Overture' and 'Thriller'. Our item was after the interval, so there was a while til our performance. Just hung out at the back of the hall with a fellow band member/classmate and watched the performances before ours. They were amazing! Such proud. ;)

Anyhoo, I left after my performance and got home around 9.30P.M, and just went to bed because had to go to school early for badminton the next day.

So today, had badminton in the morning, which was alright, and Julia wasn't here at school. So in the morning, I had badminton sport photos, where the team takes a group photo together, formalised of course. (: And I completely forgot about that, so was bit of a shock to me. ;P

At history elective period today, had to present our presentation video. Which actually took me 2 long days to complete. And my group hadn't actually seen it yet, so was a bit nervous about them judging it. But it was alright. (:

At lunch, there was a fundraising BBQ Sausage Sizzle event at our school, which I went and got a "hot dog". Didn't take a picture, but it didn't look that nice - but it was for charity. :D Since we're talking about charities, I want to mention I've signed up for the 40 Hour Famine, and probably will give up food. I did this for about 2 years in a row already, pretty proud of myself. But it was pretty painful, my heart goes out to all those children, and adults, who have to suffer from famine.

So afterwards, had sport, where we played street hockey. Ohmygosh, it's the best game ever! We didn't have any body protection ( that came out wrong. ;P ), so we had to be careful of not swinging our hockey sticks, but nearly had my head hacked off. :P We like to play violent. Mostly me. And gained couple of bruises on my leg. I had never sweated so much after those games, it really was fun. (: And had an awesome team as well - yay for teamwork. Won 2 out of 3 games. :D

Not much to say now, pretty much it. Oh! I know I've failed the challenge, I'll try and finish it off when I'm bothered. :P

And I'll also do my monthly favourites. (: This time I'll try to write more on the stuff because it seems so boring. :P And no one seems to be liking them. ;P

Update: Athletics Carnival ft. HARDCORE RAIN

So today's weather was not good. It looked pretty nice in the morning, just sunny with some fog and clouds. And it was chilly, but around afternoon it turned really bad - it was pouring.

The track, thanks to Julia ( www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com ) for the photo. (:
Anyhoo, went to the venue and found seats. And the first event was 1500m, which Julia sorta forced me into. T.T But still did it anyways. Didn't do so well, and got muscle cramps afterwards. Period.

We also did the 100m, which we just made in time for since we missed the announcement. By then, it had started pouring buckets. So I think we were the second last race before we took a break from the track. It was really hard to run in wet weather but still managed to come second, which isn't bad. (:

So after we did the 100m, we ate some fries together, and thanks again to Julia for taking the photo. (: Sorry if it looks gross, but we asked for a lotta sauce. ;D

So basically the rest of the events weren't exciting at all, just chilled with Julia and another friend of ours, Eileen, for the rest of the day. We finished the carnival an hour early, so managed to pick up my sister from school as well. (: Bought these Korean skewers to give to her and I ate some as well, because I was still hungry. (:

Anyhoo, it's getting kinda late and I have badminton training tomorrow, thanks for reading!

Update: Music Workshop & Math Results

So today, the weather was a freakin' nightmare. It just wouldn't stop pouring, and it was windy. T.T

Basically went to school, and half way during maths, had to leave for a Music Workshop. But before that, we were receiving our math half yearly results back, and I didn't know. So I just looked at my score and told my friend to mark it for me. (: I texted her a while ago and apparently there are no changes. Didn't do that bad this time, actually improved by a lot surprisingly. My parents are telling my to thank my math tutor for this, but I seriously can't be bothered, but I guess I have to. :P

Anyways, the music workshop was basically a combined school band rehearsal and concert thing, and it ran until 6.30P.M. It was really fun to say the least!

So didn't really have lunch, we went into rehearsal together with the other school for some pieces, and together, we sounded amazingly loud. My ears were ringing afterwards, HAHA. Their percussionist was amazingly violent with the drum kit, and it sounded awesome, HAHA. We played two pieces together, THRILLER by Michael Jackson and SMOKE ON THE WATER. (:

After that, we got a small 15 minute break, which I devoured my lunch because I was so tired by then. BUT, we had tutorials and more band rehearsals within our own band. And it was really tiring because we were playing for 2 hours non-stop. My flute was dripping by the end of it, as gross as that sounds, LOL.

So when we came back it was around 4P.M, and we had ordered pizza. It was a pizza between 3, and honestly, I could eat 2 pizzas alone without stopping. I was that tired and hungry. D:

We practised for another hour afterwards, and then performed in front of a small group of parents and teachers. We played the two combined pieces along with our own band piece. When we finished, left and got home. Had another dinner, hehe, and showered.

Just blogging now, and have to go bed really really soon because we have Athletics Carnival tomorrow, and I'm competing.

Thanks for reading this massively long and ranty post. (:

Update: Venus Transit, Senior Production && Hot Chocolate! [super long post]

Firstly, I know I have been slacking off and not posting as much as I should. My inner lazy me just can't be bothered to move my photos from my phone to the computer. PLEASE FORGIVE ME, but I have some quote posts coming up hopefully sometime soon. (:

Okay, so on 06/06/2012, there was the Venus transit, which wouldn't happen again until about 125 years later I think? Please correct me on that. ;P Anyways, our school was lucky enough for a nearby university to supply some telescopes around lunch time to see it. At first, I had no idea what it was all about, but decided to have a look since I wanted to live my life to the full, and I hate missing out opportunities. (:

Basically all I saw was the big fat round sun with this black pea sized dot on the bottom left hand corner. :P

Anyways, the next day, Julia (www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com ) and I decided to watch the Senior Production drama show which started from 7P.M - 8P.M. Basically it was a combined performance of all our students and the guys' school. It was seriously good! It was just so complex and just really goood!

Before we went though, we went to grab some dinner and food. So first, we went to grab some fries. But we were really scared we would run out of money and Julia keeps all sorts of things in random pockets of her bag, so we were just scavenging in her bag for random money. AND by doing that, we managed to clean her bag out. ;D

Anyways, we had some fries and the lady didn't add enough salt so Julia went back to get some more. But then the lady looked so pissed we didn't want to go back for more. But then it wasn't salty enough to be really enjoyable, so Julia went back. I thought the lady wasn't going to stop pouring the salt, HAHAHAHA.

Not so salty fries. :P
Afterwards, went to Ajisen Ramen because the fries weren't enough - I know we are big girls. ;) And that was really good as well!

Nearly forgot to take a picture!
So when I got home it was kinda late but the performance was definitely worth it! Congrats to those girls and guys that performed, the band and the directors!

Oh! Nearly forgot, but there was this alleyway next to Ajisen Ramen that was really pretty and I had to take a photo of it. But didn't turn out that nice on camera but thought I'd include in this post anyways!

So today, had a hot chocolate from the canteen and took it to class. Love doing that nowadays since the weather is so cold! D;

For lunch, went to the guys' school to get my lunch for cheaper. Got a mayo chicken sandwich and chicken bites. I wanted spicy chicken bites but I guess there was none today. ): Oh wells, was still good!

Sorry the bites look so disgusting, but there were really good!
Had Matrix coaching afterwards which was okay, moved to another classroom which was much better because we have so many students in our class.

Tomorrow, have Chinese school and on Sunday, tennis training. We have a long weekend this week since it's Queen's Birthday. (: Oh, and happy birthday! :P

Not much to add, but if something is blog-worthy, I'll definitely blog about it!

Thanks for reading!

Update: Exams and Braces

I'm so sorry for the lack of posts recently, still on my exam period. Been studying quite a lot and also since I've gotten a lot of teeth pulled out, I was in pain for some days. ): And got my braces yesterday!

So yesterday, after exams, we could leave early because of exam leave, so I went to the mall to get some food.  Wanted to eat a lot so I wouldn't be hungry afterwards since it's really hard to chew with braces on. And I wasn't going to eat dinner afterwards. Managed to fit one and a half boxes of Chinese food into my stomach, HAHAHA.

One of the boxes. I finished the other one at this time. ;P
My braces feel really weird. I've gained a lot of scratches in my mouth already because there are bits of metal that stick everywhere. And it doesn't hurt, but I found it really hard to fall asleep last night. But then I grew tired, so eventually I was able to fall asleep. They don't hurt today, but they are really itchy? HAHA, I'm so strange. Kills like hell when I bite things though. Ate a banana and it took so much strength to break it up, and so painful. ):

So had my math exam today and will have my day off tomorrow since I don't have any exams tomorrow. BUT, I have 3 exams on Friday - History Elective, PDHPE and Japanese. ): I'll have to study the whole day of Thursday.

Anyhoo, just a really short update.

BY THE WAY, those who live in Australia HAVE to watch the Voice. It's so good! I voted for Sarah De Bono by buying her 'Listen' cover. People should listen to that. ;D

Update: Sydney Jewish Museum Visit && Caesar Salad

So yesterday, went to the Sydney Jewish Museum for History Elective as an excursion for half the day. We had our normal classes in the morning and left around lunch time to go to the museum. We're studying the Holocaust right now, so that's why we went. (:

GREEN TRAFFIC LIGHT. ;D GO! Thanks to Julia for taking the photo. (:
Anyhoo, it was really interesting and puts all our worries and things into perspective. We got to meet a hidden child survivor which was truly a rare opportunity and probably a memory I would never forget. It was a truly amazing story to listen to, and to imagine it in our heads...

To get back home, I took a train at the Museum station, and that was the first time I've ever been there. It's an old station and when I first went inside, it was so prettyyyyy. It looked like it came out of a Narnia movie or Harry Potter, or somethinggg. Took photos but there are people in it, please ignore them and look at the beauty of the station. ♥

Sorry about the man, nearly had everyone cleared, just that man happened to pose...

And the people...BUT. Look at the archway? LOL
Moving on, today, had a pretty average day. More work and more studying needed. Right now, procrastinating. T.T My gosh, I'm going to fail my exams...

Had caesar salad for lunch and also a sausage roll which I forgot to take a photo of since I ate it. Lol.

LOOK AT THE AWKWARD SAUCE ANGLE. HAHA. Wanted to include that though. (:
Anyways, should wrap this post up. I want to write about Uni next - just writing this here so I won't forget to make a post on it, considering how much work I have to do. But yeah. ;D

Sorry, for this ranty post, thanks for reading.

Love,

Update: Mother's Day!

Such a belated post, but finally fixed Instagram. This will basically be an update about Sunday.

So on Sunday, in the morning, gave my mum a hug and kiss along with some gifts. ♥ They were only small gifts but I didn't want to get my mum something she wouldn't like.

I got her a wardrobe scenter thing, and some heart chocolates. ♥

One was in the scent Sakura and the other I forgot. LOL.
That day, also had tennis training and the weather was really really cold. Freezing. ): When I got home, felt like cleaning out my wardrobe so I did and now, have an entire bag of clothes that I can't fit into, or are really old that was just sitting in my closet for ages. Will be chucking those out. And I really really want to go shopping to update my wardrobe...BUT I'll have to do that after my exams as a little reward. Hopefully I deserve it. ;)

Had pho from some restaurant as lunch and when I got home, just played Fruit Ninja and chilled. That day was a really good day. Didn't do much work.

At night, worked on my history assignment and went to bed.

Update: ANZAC Day and the Avengers

First and foremost, I want to say thank you to all the soldiers that fought bravely in the wars, past and present. They have so much courage and bravery, that it is so important we remember and honour them on this special day. Lest we forget. ♥

Image taken from IMBd site.
Today, went out to the movies to watch 'The Avengers' which came out today. Was so excited for this! ♥ Went to the 12P.M session, and it did not disappoint, to say the least.

Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. brings together a team of super humans to form The Avengers to help save the Earth from Loki and his army. "

This movie was so good! ♥ Definitely one of my types of movies. ♥ ♥ Rate it 19/20. ;D

Anyhoo, went shopping and got some Typo pens.

Also got my formal dress from this cute shop 'Ally' but going to return it because, found a better one online. However, they have sold out, so I shall see. (:

Tomorrow, have badminton training in the morning and also have to present a group aerobics routine. Really need to finish off my maths homework right now. I also have a badminton competition this Saturday which I'm completely pumped about. Love badminton. ♥

Update: Haircut, Photo Inspirations & Workout Shorts

Yesterday, went out with my family to SPOTLIGHT where they sell fabrics and textiles items, but they didn't have what I wanted so we went to Adidas since it was on sale. There I bought a pair of shorts that were $20, and another $20 swimsuit since my old one is too tight. That came out wrong... lols.

Forgot to take pictures of them, my bad, sorry; such a bad blogger, I know. LOL. Afterwards, booked an appointment at my hair salon to get my hair cut. Got it cut by this cute chick ( no homo ) named Natasha. She was really nice. (:

Don't have a photo of my hair now, but basically the only drastic change is that my fringe is thicker and it practically covers my entire forehead, HAHA.

But here are my inspiration pictures of this cute chick named 'Kierra Folsom', check her out, she sings like an angel. (: I printed it and took it to the salon. (:

Anyhoo, today, going to go grocery shopping, so need to wrap this up. Sorry for a really short post.

Thanks for reading,
