Update: First Week of School && Pulled Muscle.

So the first week of school has ended, and I am very VERY sleep deprived. I slept so much in the holidays, it's not fair that I can't get the same amount of sleep when school is on. Hmph.

School has been kinda hectic and I just can NOT wake up in the morning, it's just so cold. But eventually I'll just have to get used to it, really miss summer. I mean in summer, I'll literally get up out of bed because it's just so nice to wake up to a sunny and bright room that's NOT cold. ;D

Enough of my pessimistic complaints, basically during sport on Thursday, I pulled a muscle. To be specific, a groin muscle. Oh god, so embarrassing. Hahahahaha....

I can't really remember how I pulled it, but this would make it my first pulled muscle ever. I think I took a step too big when running and then I just felt this really big pain on my left inner thigh and ended up limping to my goal. Teacher made me sit down with a half melted icepack to place on it.

Today ( Friday ) it feels better, but can't do some things without straining it, such as I can't bend over without it hurting a lot, and I can't run. So might not be going to tennis training this Sunday, which would be good because I really need to work on my English homework and essay. ):

Today, after school, had Matrix coaching and our class was really packed. This really talkative girl, not going to name names, is in our class, she's really funny but has this 'in your face' kinda attitude. I have no idea why I even mentioned her, lolz.

Came home and my sister left me some chips? Hahahaha, it's this little thing we have. I used to save things such as an extra lollipop or chocolate from something special and give it to my sister when I get home. So I guess she ate some of the packet and decided to save some for me? I have no idea, but thank you. (:

Have Chinese school tomorrow, so needa get my beauty sleep.

Toodles,

Update: Over Exercising & 1Q84!

So today, I went to tennis coaching in the morning, which was nice after not doing sport for about 2 weeks.

Had lunch afterwards, and I bought a book. That I really really really wanted for quite a while. It's the famous 1Q84 by the legendary Haruki Murakami. ;D He's such a great author, and I really want to read his Kafta on the Shore. But I don't think any one that I personally know, knows this book even exists. Or this author. Seriously. ): Cut. </3

Anyhoo, so happy, but it was not cheap. But that's because mine has book 1, 2 and 3, and it's just so thick ( that's what she said ) and it's seriously going to take me agessss. Maybe the rest of this year to read, considering how small the font is ( that's what she said as well :P ). I've already read some of it, it's so good, shall keep reading! Apparently, this one's not as good as Kafta on the Shore, but have to finish this one first. (:

Oh I forgot to mention, I'm not reading this in Jap, though I wish my Japanese was good enough so I could. This is the English adapted one, don't know by who, but yeah. (:

$32.95.
So went and played badminton with my family afterwards at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Hall. Super sweaty and fun!

I honestly have not done any exercise this whole holidays, been eating out a lot, and drinking a lotta sweet drinks, so unsurprisingly I've gained like 3 kilos. But I always lose it during school because of the hell there. So no sweats. ;D

Anyhoo, school is going to start soon and I'm so sad. </3 But I really enjoyed these holidays, they were perfect but the only thing is, I still haven't finished my school work. D;

Anyhoo, thanks for reading!

Update: Archery ft. old school besties && new purchases

Today met up with my old school besties, Ashly and Barbara as well with my sister at the Sydney Olympic Archery Centre and shot some arrows. ;D It was something unique and different to experience. The session was an hour and a half, and there were instructors there as well to help us. (: It was awesome, I really like archery. ♥

Was a beautiful day. (:
Anyhoo, afterwards, went out for lunch and did our little grocery shopping.

This really cute stationary store, Morning Glory, was having a 50% sale off everything so grabbed some stuff. (:

Was running out of liquid tape so bought this cute iPhone correction tape thing, and some bed socks because I only have one pair at home and that's not enough. ;P Plus, it was only like a dollar.

Originally really needed to get these overgrips for my tennis racquet at Kmart, but they didn't have any ): And I couldn't find any...BUT, I found other stuff that was on  my list at the time. ;D Got a black singlet because needed one, and DUMBELLS. Because I really need to workout more. HAHAHA, sharing these cheap ones with my mum. ♥

Black cami.
Those camis are insanely comfy for such a cheap price, hurhurhur. >: D

And got a 20% off iTunes gift card because I don't like to keep using my mum's credit card on iTunes just in case we get scammed. :D

$16. (:
Anyhoo, not much to say, but I have tennis coaching tomorrow and badminton with my family. ;D

Really going out these last few days of the holidays, because I realised I was so cooped up in the first week doing nothing, HAHAHAHA. And on Monday just going to chill the last hours of freedom. </3

Oh and you probably noticed my outfit of the days have kinda ceased, it's because I've been wearing my Varsity jacket to death these days because I'm too lazy to think of something nice to wear, so please excuse my laziness. ;3 And tomorrow I won't be able to do it either since I'll be in working out clothing, so I'm sorry, but ah wells.

Update: Athletics Carnival ft. HARDCORE RAIN

So today's weather was not good. It looked pretty nice in the morning, just sunny with some fog and clouds. And it was chilly, but around afternoon it turned really bad - it was pouring.

The track, thanks to Julia ( www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com ) for the photo. (:
Anyhoo, went to the venue and found seats. And the first event was 1500m, which Julia sorta forced me into. T.T But still did it anyways. Didn't do so well, and got muscle cramps afterwards. Period.

We also did the 100m, which we just made in time for since we missed the announcement. By then, it had started pouring buckets. So I think we were the second last race before we took a break from the track. It was really hard to run in wet weather but still managed to come second, which isn't bad. (:

So after we did the 100m, we ate some fries together, and thanks again to Julia for taking the photo. (: Sorry if it looks gross, but we asked for a lotta sauce. ;D

So basically the rest of the events weren't exciting at all, just chilled with Julia and another friend of ours, Eileen, for the rest of the day. We finished the carnival an hour early, so managed to pick up my sister from school as well. (: Bought these Korean skewers to give to her and I ate some as well, because I was still hungry. (:

Anyhoo, it's getting kinda late and I have badminton training tomorrow, thanks for reading!

Update: Bootsssssss

As promised, I have taken photos of my new boots that I bought yesterday. (:

Haven't waterproofed them yet, so don't know if that will change how it looks, but here they are. (:

That is all, but check out this song, by Taylor Swift. It's so true. I would don't want to grow up...

Update: Boots && Laps.

Hi everyone. (:

Haven't updated in a while, again, sorry.

Anyways, on Saturday, had Chinese school in the morning which was the usual. Went shopping afterwards, wasn't planning on getting anything at all. BUT. There was a sale at William's shoes, and my mum took me there because I was just BROWSING. BUT. There's always a BUT. Lol. I found these super cute heel boots that were on 40% sale, and I wasn't going to get them since they were still quite expensive and I wanted to go shopping with Julia after exams for clothes. BUT. Somehow, my mum just let me get them. I actually left the shop, but she told me to go back in and just get them. But kinda happy. ;D I haven't taken a photo of them, will soon later. Need to waterproof them first. (:

ANYWAYS, had maths tutoring after which was the usual as well.

THE END OF SATURDAY. :P

So today ( Sunday ), woke up around 7.30A.M, to go running. No idea what made me do that, but went anyways. Ran for about half an hour so I could make it in time for tennis training. I think I'm extremely unfit, because I couldn't even run a soccer field lap, HAHAHAHAHA. Need to do more running. :P Had tennis training, which was alright.

Went out for lunch, and haven't done much work since. OMG. Exams are really really soon, and I haven't started studying. F**k.

Anyhoo, thanks for reading, will take photos of more stuff. (:

Update: Online Shopping and Healthy Snacking?

So I don't know if I've blogged about this, probably not, but some time ago, I bought a couple of things off eBay. Oh, one tip when buying things off there, look mostly for the seller that are rated as 'Top Seller'. I guess those are the ones with the most positive feedback from costumers and are more trustworthy? I guess. (:

Anyhoo, I bought some studs for clothing and they finally arrived today. All the way from Hong Kong. ;D So happy! It was a nice surprise after coming home from school today.

Oh, at school today, had Cross-Country which is a long distance running competition within your age group at school. It was a surprise to me, since I didn't know until I got to school. So so tiring and hot, but the hot was nice since it was chilly in the air. Didn't get a place but made it in the allocated time - 25 minutes.

Also had a history elective test today. It was source-based questions. I made my expectations of the test to be really hard and high, so when I did do the test, it was fortunately easier than I thought. Which was good. (: Less time to mindblank, more writing, HAHA. ;P

Okay, back to the studs. I bought two packets of 100 pc of silver and gold studs. And they also gave me a free gift with bronze star studs! So sweet of them. ♥

It was in bubble wrap since the spikes of the studs are quite sharp. (:

Took them out. ♥ ♥
Shall put these on my collared clothes once I find the time, and use the remainders on some of the shoulder areas of some clothing if I have the time. And also on my shorts. ♥ Oh the list is endless. ;) Getting excited, lol.

Today, went to Woolies after school to get some dips. Got Hommus and French Onion. I cut up some strips of celery and used the dips to add some flavour. Omg, best snack ever! ♥ ♥ Was so good, and my sister ate some too. (:

So good. ♥
Tomorrow, I have a maths test so need to study for that. And also need to start on my English essay soon as well. Ahhh, so many things to do, and so many assignments due.

So thanks for reading, sorry for the lack of posts. I'm planning to do some tag posts next. (:

Update: Badminton Competition !

Ohmygosh, please forgive me, haven't updated in quite a while, I know.

On Saturday, I had a badminton competition for school, and I've been waiting to post about it, but I was waiting for the group photo that our captain took, and I just received the email today. The post wouldn't be complete without a good groupie photo, yeah? (:

Anyhoo, on Saturday, Julia ( www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com ) actually arrived pretty early to the venue, around 8A.M. But it took a while to get there. The rest of the people arrived, and we went inside their gymnasium. Their school was a French School, and there was only one school we were against, and it was their badminton and tennis team. And somehow their tennis team was better than their actual badminton team, HAHA. They came first.

They all spoke in French, and they were all around the ages of 10-13, and a majority of them were boys. So we girls, were against younger boys. And what's worse than that? Getting beaten by them. Miserably.

I was in the second team along with Julia, and somehow I ended up as captain of that team. We only had two teams, the French school had 4. ): Anyhoo, Julia and I were entered as doubles, and also as singles.

Ohmygosh, they were so tactical and hard. They were so professionally trained, and apparently, this was their first competition. We lost all of the first matches of the Team we versed. They were so cute and small, but so deceiving, HAHA.

Up til the last team, we had to verse the other team to determine the 5th or 6th place; a.k.a, the last or second last place. Unsurprisingly, we came 6th ( last ) but considering how little we train, we did pretty darn well. However, I did manage to win one match against this mega cute boy named Elliot. He was having mini tantrums, and we were already tired when we tied at 5-5. He was making cute comments like: 'What is this?' 'What the hell.' 'Ohmygod, this is so tiring.' Around halfway through the set, I asked for time out since it was so tiring.

Then half way through the second set, he swore at me. Yes he did. He actually said: 'F*ck you.' But he said it kinda smiling, so I took it as a joke, so I laughed, and I guess he laughed abit. HAHA. It would've been hell if I replied as: 'F*ck you too.' HAHAHA.

Anyhoo, the day was pretty successful, one of the best experiences I'll never forget, since they spoke in French, and their accents were so cute. ♥

Oh, and had Subway for lunch with a free cookie from Julia. ♥ Thanks again, girlie. (:
