Michelle's Style | Favourite Accessories

I've been really liking these accessories lately! And sorry I haven't been posting in these 'series' lately, need to find more new stuff to wear. ;D

Anyhoo, been wearing a lot of badges, especially on my Varsity jacket or just when I find the outfit is super boring/no colour. These ones are my favourite ones so far. But the one I like the best has to be the 'Trashy' one; comeon it's unique. Plus it's in the font of the cocacola logo. ;D

Also been loving the new bracelet I got from eBay. Been wearing it every chance I get. It just so nice, and gives 'edge' to every outfit. (: Since it's still chilly, I would wear a long sleeve or jacket, roll up the sleeves and chuck it on. (:

The last item is that ring. I got it in this really small boutique in China as kind of an impulse buy at the counter. Didn't even try it on, haha! But it kinda fits, and I don't know, just really like it. Surprisingly, I only have like 2 rings, need to invest in some more. (:

Anyways, I don't even know why I posted this, hehehehe. Sorry for the sudden attack of posts, had a massive brainstorm of ideas yesterday, and wanted to blog about them asap. And I should type them up and then 'release' them slower so my ideas don't run out, but honestly can't be bothered. :D

Update: 3 Reasons Why Today Was a Good Day

1. Started the day off with nice food - meat pie. ;D Even better with tomato sauce. (: Can't live without that. ♥

2. Had a super filling lunch. ;D Sausage roll and caesar salad. (: I think I've blogged about this 'combo' before. :P

It looks so beautiful, wearing it now even though I'm in my PJ's. Yeah, I'm weird. (:

Oh and sorry for lack of outfit of the days sort of posts, have been wearing the same jacket each weekend, it's just so easy to pair with, so haven't really been wearing anything else. Hopefully I'll have more interesting outfits soon, if the weather warms up even more. ;)

Update: Obsession with Hats && New Jackets

So today, woke up kinda early for a Saturday, but just stayed in bed for an hour playing 'Pocket Planes' and 'Tiny Tower' on my iPod til I got up. (: It was pretty fun, just lying there. I could see the sun coming up through the curtains. Made my day.

Anyhoo, changed and went out to go grocery shopping with my family. Also grabbed some items.

I was looking for really sheer leggings/stockings or whatever you call them. :P Just got a cheap one from Woolies for half the price you would get at a retail store. It's probably going to rip soon, but ah wells.

I have a new found obsession with hats. Firstly I was obsessed with beanies, and really desperately wanted a black one. Got one and so happy with it. After that one dies I'm getting a thicker one that's not so floppy. ;) That's what she said. Anyhoo, today, I wore a hat I had for some time but only wore once which is featured in my post : http://ilikestarryskies.blogspot.com.au/2012/06/michelles-style-300612.html. Honestly, I have this temptation to take that post down because the outfit is just so boring and I don't like it that much. ;P

Oh and then today, found a $5 hat at Jayjays in the sale section. So happy with it. It's this wide brimmed black fedora hat with this ribbon bow thing. It's so nice. (: And it would help with keeping the sun outta my face AND keep my hair down when it's windy. It's winter here, but it's still amazingly sunny but chilly. :P If that makes any sense at all.

Was originally $29.99. ;D Good bargain. :D

It feels weird when I'm not wearing a hat, but yeah. (: Really into hats at the moment.

ALSO, I was eyeing a Varsity jacket in Kmart for a really long time, which is red and blue schemed. And it sold out in a week. And the price was pretty good - $19. And when it sold out, it made me sad, so I gave up finding another one, til my mum found one last week. And she took me to the store this week and BAM. There it was. So this time definitely bought it, because second chances are hard to come by. ;) Convinced my sister also to get one, but she didn't like the colour red so she got a grey and black schemed one. Personally I reckon the red and blue looks nicer. ;) I AM GOING TO PERSONALISE IT. ;D ♥

Anyhoo, not much to say, oh and sorry for not taking a picture with the jacket, forgot to. ):

Planning to go to DFO with my mum and Julia ( www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com ) tomorrow to go shopping together. Initially, we planned that Julia would come over like last week ( post here : http://ilikestarryskies.blogspot.com.au/2012/06/update-lord-of-rings-ft-julia-homemade.html ) to finish off the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy. But then changed plans just a couple of hours ago.

Oh, and it's finally the holidays! I'm so glad, means I can do a lot more things that I couldn't do when I had school because it was way to stressful to cram in all the stuff I would like to do.

And one of them is to blog more. It feels so nice to blog fully again, and that would explain my rambling. I should shut up now. (:

Update: Post-Exam Shopping ft. Julia

Hi,

So since it's after exams Julia ( www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com ) and I actually went shopping. We planned this before exams so we would have something to look forward to after exams - sorta like a treat to ourselves, if you know what I mean. ;)

We went to a super large Westfield and went to heaps of stores which most were on mid-year sales. Was really really fun! I was really excited the night before. I actually made a list of what I wanted to get, and I got some things from it. One thing I really wanted was a black beanie, but considering I had gotten a lot of things already, I didn't. But I will get one later. But still really want one. (:

For lunch, had curry chicken with rice, it was kinda cheap with the water - $6.90. (:

Not much to add, but made some hot chocolate afterwards and picked up my sister from school. (: Oh and check out her blog here: http://yukiblood.blogspot.com.au/ She's only just started, so no hate. (: ♥

So first are two tops I got from this small store called BLUE JADE. If you ever go there, make sure you know what you're getting because no refunds. Personal experience, yall.

Black and white chiffon blouse. This one was kinda pricey - $20. 

Really wanted a denim shirt, and found one in Jay Jays. They didn't have my size, they only had L or XL, and I tried on L, way too large, but I really wanted it, so I'll slightly alter it. (:

Look at how massive it is. ;P

And last but not least, got two pairs of badass looking earrings. Was looking for spiked necklaces, but I really wanted these. Plus, they were on 50% sale. (: Both were from Colette accessories.

All in all, I'm still looking for a black beanie since it is getting kinda cold and my head needs some warmth and luurrrrveee. ;) I definitely need to continue and finish my quote post which I'm finding kinda difficult to write since I have no idea how to elaborate on it, but hopefully it'll be up soon. (:

Update: Online Shopping and Healthy Snacking?

So I don't know if I've blogged about this, probably not, but some time ago, I bought a couple of things off eBay. Oh, one tip when buying things off there, look mostly for the seller that are rated as 'Top Seller'. I guess those are the ones with the most positive feedback from costumers and are more trustworthy? I guess. (:

Anyhoo, I bought some studs for clothing and they finally arrived today. All the way from Hong Kong. ;D So happy! It was a nice surprise after coming home from school today.

Oh, at school today, had Cross-Country which is a long distance running competition within your age group at school. It was a surprise to me, since I didn't know until I got to school. So so tiring and hot, but the hot was nice since it was chilly in the air. Didn't get a place but made it in the allocated time - 25 minutes.

Also had a history elective test today. It was source-based questions. I made my expectations of the test to be really hard and high, so when I did do the test, it was fortunately easier than I thought. Which was good. (: Less time to mindblank, more writing, HAHA. ;P

Okay, back to the studs. I bought two packets of 100 pc of silver and gold studs. And they also gave me a free gift with bronze star studs! So sweet of them. ♥

It was in bubble wrap since the spikes of the studs are quite sharp. (:

Took them out. ♥ ♥ 

Shall put these on my collared clothes once I find the time, and use the remainders on some of the shoulder areas of some clothing if I have the time. And also on my shorts. ♥ Oh the list is endless. ;) Getting excited, lol.

Today, went to Woolies after school to get some dips. Got Hommus and French Onion. I cut up some strips of celery and used the dips to add some flavour. Omg, best snack ever! ♥ ♥ Was so good, and my sister ate some too. (:

So good. ♥

Tomorrow, I have a maths test so need to study for that. And also need to start on my English essay soon as well. Ahhh, so many things to do, and so many assignments due.

Update: Hunger Games and Boost Juice

Finally got to watch the Hunger Games movie today!

Honestly, I had high expectations, and it wasn't that good,  in terms of what I expected but really enjoyable. It was interesting, but my sister found it really boring. I suggest you read the book first, before watching it, it really helps understand the background much more, and you'll enjoy it more. Honestly, wish I had a guy that was like Peeta. ;3 ♥

I'm still giving it a 10/10. :3 I heart the Hunger Games. ♥ ♥ ♥ 

So since I practically ate a bag of chips in the cinemas so had Boost Juice, which I hadn't had in ages. Got an original Berry Berry Light.  ♥

There were these really cute baby chicks in the shopping centre, and obviously I had to go handle them. HAHA, that came out dirty, sorry. :P But seriously, they were dayum cute. Oh, by chicks, I mean chickens, not girls, in this context. :3 

Look at the little balls of fluff! Too cute. ♥

Anyhoo, held this one, and also a black one but didn't take a picture of the latter. :P 

They were so fragile and fluffy. I think one of them crapped onto the floor, HAHA. Oops. Sorry, chick.

Bought a shirt from Jayjays today, was on sale for $10, but didn't take a photo of it since it wouldn't do it justice. Also bought 3 bracelets from them as well. Went to Finkle to have a look around since my mum was buying a hat from there. It's this really cute boutique on the streets. Ended up getting a really simple belt for $10 as well. (:

Afterwards, had maths tutoring. Tomorrow will have tennis training in the morning and I want to go running, but I don't think I'll have time considering the mountain load of homework I have to do, but I am considering it. (:

Update: Back From School Camp

I'm finally back from Yr 10 School Camp which was one of the best camps I've had so far. It was fun, but tiring since we had to do a lot of physically training; if you know what I mean. ;) Anyhoo, it was really hard to take photos of stuff since I couldn't bring my camera along with me to the places where we trained so I'll make a brief update on it. (:

Basically we travelled from school for about 45 minutes max. on these really comfy coaches. Partnered with Julia ( www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com ) and we both just chilled and listened to music. When we got there, we were debriefed and placed into our own cabins, whom we both went with two other awesome chicks. In our classes, we each went to out afternoon activities and for my class, we went to archery and abseiling first. Both were really enjoyable.

That night we partied til around 10.30P.M when the teachers got kinda mad. There was this hilarious moment when we thought a teacher opened the door and everyone just scattered and laid on the ground as if that would TOTALLY hide us. But turned out it was just another fellow school mate. LOVED EVERYONE'S REACTIONS. We ate so many Pringle's with salsa sauce. Couldn't really sleep that night; kept waking up in the middle of the night.

Second day, I was a complete zombie from lack of sleep. Had breakfast where the teachers had the privilege of getting bacons and eggs, while we only had toast and other cold stuff. The weather wasn't looking too good, really cloudy. Later in the morning it did actually start raining. In the morning, I had sport science and sport initiatives. Sport science was where we had all these fitness tests to see where our levels were for personal reasons. For the record, I didn't do that well... Sport initiatives was, well, a lecture on the HSC...

Had lunch which I can't remember what it was, and then headed to afternoon activity which was kayaking. I really love kayaking. But first would have to be archery. Can do that all day long. ♥ Thank god the rain had stopped by then, else we'll be kayaking wet. My arms were going to fall off after but it was still worth it. Plus, the scenery was beautiful. Wish I could've taken my camera but with the cloud cover, it wouldn't have done it justice.

Took a shower after then, and went to dinner which was so good! Lasagne with salad as a side. ♥ Had night activities which was games in a really large court. Never had so much fun before! ♥

When we got back to the cabin, there were cockroaches everywhere. Over the shelf and there was one on my pillow. Ew. After using an entire can of cockroach spray or whatever that stuff is, we still had heaps. So we packed and moved cabins. I think it was from all the food we had the night before. But in the other cabin, there was still an amount of cockroaches. But still managed to sleep at least.

The last activity before we left after lunch was the rope course which was around 10 metres up where you were attached to a harness and it was an obstacle course on ropes. It was quite daunting, but when we got get down with the flying fox, it was so freaking fun! ♥

After lunch, got back to school and I still had Matrix coaching afterwards which was really tiring. My eyes were drooping by half way. Got home, had a good shower and got a really nice long sleep.

Today ( Saturday ) had Chinese school in the morning which turns out to be the last lesson for this term. I also bought some groceries which were lip balm, QV Cream, hair ties and deodorant.

Had maths tutoring after wards which was slightly tedious. And I'm completely dead right now since I'm blogging so late. But have a lot of tests next week and need to study for them tomorrow, so might not have time to blog again tomorrow. Also have tennis training tomorrow morning so better sleep earlier. Lol!

Anyhoo, shall blog again soon I hope.

Update: Egg Benedict and Heels!

Met up with Julia ( www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com ) around 11A.M, today to go eat lunch and shop. It was so fun! Since it was still rather early, went around window shopping, and we decided to go to 'Rubi Shoes' to try on heels for the fun of it. Yeah, girls are strange. Hehe.

These are by far my favourite ones of all the ones we tried. Oh by the way, Julia is on the left.

So went to the Coffee Club, and food was expensive but so good! Ordered what Julia had, which was an Ice Tea and Egg Benedict, which was soooo gooood!!! Thank you to Julia, :3

Tried on heaps of clothing, since we were so bored, lol. But was really fun, just got tiring. Anyhoo, bought this really cute storage from Priceline. Love it so much!

Update: Expensive Shopping Haul

Went shopping today and got quite a lot of expensive items. :O I think this is really bad, but anyways, just wanted to share.

I decided to get the Lonsdale bag after much though, but the store that sold it for $30, had crappy colours, so I just ended up getting the Original one ( black and white ) :

Used my red pocket money for that thing ^.

Also went to Priceline because Julia said they were having a sale but ended up getting something I wasn't planning to get. A brush. But my old one was coming apart, so guessed this was worth it. Was $18.99, but reduced to $15.19.

And I went to Coles and got this thing I've been seeing on Youtube recently and it intrigued me ( was $9.99 ) :

And lastly, went to Athlete's Foot to grab some new sports shoes. I now go there to buy my shoes even though it's expensive, since I have to wear orthotics and they have shoes that support them. So I asked the lady for lighter shoes ( ie. running shoes ) and more support on the outside since I kept rolling my ankle. The shoes were $159.99. Oh god. Didn't take a picture though, because I couldn't be bothered. I mean, they're just expensive shoes ...

I shall now go on a no spending challenge, and wish me luck!

Update: New Years' Eve Haul

Today, had a rather massive shopping haul and spent like...$70 on stuff. Which isn't such a great thing.

I bought a handbag, that wasn't even on sale but it was meant to be my birthday present from my sister and mum, so here it is :

From Colette accessories, and was $40. :O 

 Went to the chemist as well, to grab some things. I had to get more aloe vera gel since I got sunburnt... T_T Still healing. ): And my sister needs some, :P .

Apparently, tomorrow, we're going bushwalking in a rainforest over in Wollongong. (: Looking forward to that.

I've gotten my job and next year I'm starting but only working for 4 days...Haha ! Lol ! Ah well.

Update: Nearing Christmas

I haven't updated in ages, not because I've forgotten about the blog, but I haven't done anything. Lol ! And I don't even think anyone is going to read this. :O Comment if you do. (:

I'm planning on starting a series named: 'Life Advice', and 'How to Survive School'. Lol ! Hopefully, then I'll be able to increase my blogging abilities. I've realised that my blogging hasn't been very useful to anyone, but my friends who I haven't contacted in ages. So hopefully, this would contribute to some people. (: Keep in mind, the opinions given would be slightly bias and if anything stated is incorrect, I'm happy to correct it. No offenses are intentional.

Anyways, 3 days til Christmas ! Am I excited? To say the least, no. Why?

1. My Christmas presents are always the same: money. It isn't a bad thing, but it gets boring after a while ( say 8 years. :P ). I'm looking forward for something surprising, but that nearly always never happens. I guess you can say my parents just don't have the time to go searching for my presents. (:

2. We don't 'celebrate' it. We don't even have a Christmas dinner. No roast. Why? My parents say they don't have time. Perhaps I'll make something next time. (:

3. We don't celebrate it with anyone if we ever are. (: But this year, I'm assuming we're heading to a friend's place for a party. (: Not bad.

4. All the shops are closed. Hence, nothing to do. :P

5. My friends always go away in the holidays, overseas, what not. So I'm left here with no one to hang out with.

6. Have to look after my sister, so even if my friends are here, I can't go out.

But other than those points, I'm still happy it's the holidays. I can clean my room at least, which over the year has become a massive pig sty. Which brings me to the next update. (: Yesterday, I cleaned my room to make space for my other 'crap'. I hung this two 'paintings' on my bedroom door since I made them last year, and just discovered them again. (: I really like them.

Now people won't believe me when I say I have over 65 pairs of earrings. But trust me, I have a massive rack that's meant to hold about 60+ and it's full. Photo? :P

 I also made use of the jewellery rack that Julia ( http://www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com/ ) had given to me as part of my birthday gift.

Who said you can't put sunglasses as well? :P

And no, I haven't finished cleaning my room. So I've still got to do that.

I'm also planning to bake some ginger biscuits, brownies and macaroons. Definitely will blog about that if I do. (:

Update: Girls' Day Out !

Today, went out with Julia ( http://www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com/ ) and Jennifer to go karaokeing, but we didn't even know where the karaoke store was. Julia and I searched up and down for it and when we did find it, people 18 and under weren't allowed. D: So we didn't get to go karaokeing.

Instead, we decided to go shopping in Westfield, and I ended up buying a deal of two sunglasses ; 2 for $20. (: And I really like them. Although I already got a pair, well two pairs of sunglasses, I really liked aviators. :D

We were in Jay Jays and Julia and I were trying on the sunnies and there was one that looked like 'Harry Potter' glasses. We looked so hilarious in them. :D

Anyways, we had lunch and talked. Did some more shopping and then walked to an arcade which was similar to 'Galaxy World' and we just gamed. The best one out of it was this really stimulating car race. :D So fun !! But we only won 7 tickets. :P Fail.

We farewelled and Jennifer came with me to go to Matrix Education, since she wanted to join as well. So we got some info and I caught the bus home. (:

I'm going to watch 'The Matrix Revolution' now and finish it off. But today was such a fun and awesome day ; sad it's finished now. D:
