Blood Tests

This morning I actually didn't remember that I had to do blood tests, until my mum came into my bedroom and told me to wake up. So I had to get ready and then head out. I wasn't allowed to eat before it; apparently, it would screw up the results or something.

By the time we got there, it was around 8:45AM. So I had to get blood tests and 4 TUBES OF THEM ! They said my veins were really small and hard to find. Everything of me is small ! ): I have small ears and small veins...what's next? Small va-- JUST KIDDING ! :D

So after 4 tubes of blood tests, they had to do an ECG on me to monitor my heart patterns. I've had one in the hospital on the day I first fainted but this one is recorded now. So what I had to do was to remove my clothes...): Yep ! I had to strip. Lol. Well not all of my clothes, just my upper half. It was so awkward. Thank god that the people who were doing it were women (: So I just concentrated on the ceiling (:

After the ECG, we left and had to get X-Rays done. So I got chest X-Rays and again, I had to remove my clothes...): Upper half again. At least this time they gave me a robe to cover myself with (:

By then it was around 10:30AM and we got home around 10:55PM. Had a late breakfast and didn't eat too much since it was near lunchtime. (: Made toast with the griller and cheese. So good !

For lunch, had spaghetti that my mum had made beforehand. (: That was good too. :D

Today was really unproductive. Tried to write notes but then I got sleepy since I woke up so suddenly this morning. Need to practise flute soon and I'm STILL trying to do my notes ! I've practically given up on them ! WHO CARES ! Lol.

The weather is crazy again ; now it's extremely windy. So I might not go out of town this Sunday. Maybe watch movies ! I've got two movies on mind : 'Johnny English Reborn' and '1911 The Revolution' !

DFO !

Today I was expecting to do some work D: But my mum was at home and she wanted me to go with her to go shopping. So I had no choice but to follow suit. ):

We went to DFO ( Direct Factory Outlet ) and I obviously went to 'Dotti' because I ALWAYS go there. :P Anyways, found one jumper that was nice and tried it on, and bought it. It was $60 reduced to $20. Picture of it :

Sorry about the lighting !
After shopping, we had to eat lunch and so we drove to this Vietnamese restaurant and had some lunch there. The food there is excellent ! And it's cheap !! Double win !

...Don't know what you call this but it's what you can add to the noodle soups (:

My mum's one. (:

My one !
So after lunch, and more grocery shopping, we went home and NOW I HAVE TO STUDY.

Thanks for reading,

Luna Park Trip ft. Julia (:

I went to Luna Park today with Julia ( http://www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com/ ) , and it was so awesomely fun ! On the way, I had stomaches again ): And I thought I had to cancel but it was all good ! Hopefully ! I shall let the pictures do they're own talking :D

The view of the Harbour Bridge. Took this picture from the Ferris Wheel. :D

I'm so small D: - Guess this picture is also an OOTD. (:
So we took the train and then when we got there, we bought our wrist band tickets. The queue wasn't that long actually !

The entrance of Luna Park. Great picture taken by Julia :D
We bought some snow cones after going on some rides. (:

Two Snowcones that we bought in Raspberry Flavour ! They were good and cold ! Lol.
For lunch, we bought food from this place which had adorable looking poles -  sounds so dirty. :P

Aren't the hamburgers on the poles CUTE?!
One of the rides I convinced Julia to go on was called the 'Ranger' which I've been on before. The 'boat' goes upside down half-way through and it's not scary ; you just get really confused where the ground is. :P

The RIDE - RANGER!

After Luna Park, we found this really cute park and there was these really climbable-looking trees. So we climbed one of them :

The tree we climbed. (:
On the train on the way back, Julia and I were having a conversation about what COULD'VE happened at Luna Park today and the funny thing was, that we were talking to imaginary people in front of us. And the thing that was in front of us was a pole....I hope people weren't giving us strange looks. :O

Anyways, I'm going to start working and try to study hard from tomorrow after hectic days from Sunday on wards. I believe I might be heading to Woollongong on Sunday instead of going out with Julia ): I'll be taking Julia out to eat next Friday instead. :D

Thanks again to Julia for such an amazing and fun day ! Say thanks to your mum ! <3
Stay tuned !

Messed up Sleeping Patterns ):

Since it's the holidays, I've been sleeping kinda late. Well I go to bed early, but I fall asleep late. I wonder why that is....ANYWAYS !

I woke up late this morning; around 9:30AM. Then I dwardled around for about 30 minutes and went to eat brekkie which was cold since I dwardled so long. D:

Had my make-up flute lesson today, at 11:15AM. Was supposed to be one hour to make up for 2 lessons, but we ran out of pieces so we decided to finish 15 minutes early and add it on to the first lesson next term. (:

For lunch, I had overnight leftovers and then I went upstairs to try and do some work. I cleaned up all my booklets ( especially elective history ones because for some reason, the teacher LOVES to give out useless booklets ! ) and put them in the binder folder I bought on Saturday. Link to the post here : http://ilikestarryskies.blogspot.com/2011/09/holiday-time.html

And now, I've just finished my dinner and waiting to leave so I can play badminton late at night. Lol. I'm going at 9PM and coming back at 11PM. Which isn't good since I have to come home and shower afterwards.

Tomorrow, I'm going to Luna Park with Julia ( http://www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com/ ) and hopefully the weather would hold up. The forecast says it won't rain so I'm crossing my fingers ! (: I'm so pumped - probably should pack for that soon ! (: The weather lately has been crazy; rained for 3 days straight and windy. ): Some breaks of sunshine that last for about 10 minutes max. ):

I'm taking Julia out for lunch this Sunday at this place I love to eat at, but I don't love the waiters. They are so dreary. They never smile at the customers...so depressing. At least the food is good !

So I'll post pictures of the food if I remember before Julia and I gobble it up ! (: Enjoy your holidays, that is, if you have them (:

Badminton Competition !

I had the badminton competition today and it was.....in my words...failure. :P It was my first badminton competition so take that into consideration. :P (:

The courts (:
What was funny though, was that there were heaps of shuttle cocks that were stuck in the mesh on the ceiling. So it looked hilarious. This picture isn't that clear, but the white dots that I circled in red are cocks. :P

LOOK AT HOW MANY THERE ARE !!!
There were 5 pools, with 3 doubles and 2 singles. The first double had a girl that didn't even turn up so the point automatically went to the other team ( counted as forfeit ).

The first pool was against ______ Girls and they were really really good. I already lost to them ):

Then the next one was against ...I can't remember. LOL. I think PLC? But they were hard as well - so I lost. Obviously. ):

The next one was against ...ARGH CAN'T REMEMBER. ): But I won this one - extremely intense. I won by 1 point (: 14 to 15. (:

The next one was against our own school - but the other team. LOST THAT ONE AS WELL ! ): She was the hardest out of the group and she has outside school training T_T

The last pool was against ______ Girls and we lost. Again. ): But this girl was cripped ( sprained ankle ) and she told me to go easy on her, so I did. ): Sigh. She wasn't easy on me. ):

Oh well. Don't know our rank as a school since I left. I'll update that later ! (:

Holiday Time !

It's just came across to me that's it's the holidays ! Slow; I know. :P

Anyways, today ( Saturday ) I didn't have Chinese lessons since it finished last week so now I have to study for it for the test next Term. ): So since I didn't have Chinese lessons I woke up rather late. Around 9:30AM.

Then we went grocery shopping. I had to buy a couple of items which was stationary. Lol. So I bought a maths grid book since I was ran out of pages and I really need one for next term, and two binder folders. One's for Elective History since the teacher keeps handing out thick booklets that she doesn't even go through - waste of paper and killing trees ! The other binder folder is for...probably tests. (:

Pictures :

It was expensive ! $2.95 !

It's such crap lighting - sorry. These are those really cheap $2 binders. :P
I also bought a magazine - Cleo. I shall be reading it soon. It had some inappropriate titles so I covered it with what came free with it (: Sorry about awkward positioning. :P

Tomorrow, I have a badminton competition to participate in. I'm nervous since my partner who DRAGGED me to go isn't even going herself. Humph. So I have to go in singles. And I suck at singles. ): Oh well. Have to be there at 11:15 am and goes up to around 7 pm. ): This is going to be one long day.

My dad is dragging me out to play badminton at night on Monday. Which I agreed to since I LOVE badminton ! (: He's taking me at 9PM-11PM. Apparently I have to verse his friends since there aren't other teenagers there. ): But I don't mind ! :P

Then on Tuesday I'm going out with Julia ( http://www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com/ ) to Luna Park. (: Little message to Julia - We're meeting at 10:15 am (: and bring your camera ! I'm excited for that. The rest of the week is going to be studying but I highly doubt those sessions are going to be unwasted. :P

That's it for now ! I'll post about the competition later. (:

Book Review: Alone on a Wide Wide Sea by Michael Morpurgo

Julia ( http://www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com/ ) actually lent me this book since she called it one of her all-time favourites. I've finished reading it a long time ago actually, and I wanted to post a review on it.

The Blurb:
Orphaned in WWII, Arthur is separated from his
sister and sent to the other side of the world. There his
extraordinary journey continues as he and his friend Marty
survive brutal captivity on a working farm, find a new family
with the eccentric Aunty Meg and her animals, and
discover their talent for designing yachts.

Sixty years later, Arthur's daughter Allie sets sail
single-handed in a yacht designed by her father, determined
to find his long-lost sister in England. Can family love stretch
across time and the vastness of the oceans? And will the
threads of Arthur's life finally come together?

What I think about it:
This book is so tragic. My sister who read it said it was TOO tragic for her liking - fair enough. But I like tragedy compared to cliche. :P I think it was really good, till the story was moved into his daughter's point of view. That part, I skipped many pages. Lol. If you read it, you'll see what I mean. :P

Rating: 9.5/10 - Lost half a mark since there was a part I had to skip a lot of pages. :P

Recommendation: Yes. Especially if you want to know how much WWII really affected children and the harsh reality of how they are treated. ):

Best Divorce Letter Ever !

I thought this was really great to share with you guys. Don't know if it's real - but it's pretty good. (: Lengthy but interesting. :P

Enjoy !

Dear Wife,
I’m writing you this letter to tell you that I’m leaving you forever. I’ve been a good man to you for 7 years & I have nothing to show for it. These last 2 weeks have been hell. ... Your boss called to tell me that you quit your job today & that was the last straw. Last week, you came home & didn’t even notice I had a new haircut, had cooked your favorite meal & even wore a brand new pair of silk boxers. You ate in 2 minutes, & went straight to sleep after watching all of your soaps. You don’t tell me you love me anymore; you don’t want sex or anything that connects us as husband & wife. Either you’re cheating on me or you don’t love me anymore; whatever the case, I’m gone.

Your EX-Husband

P.S. don’t try to find me. Your SISTER & I are moving away to West Virginia together! Have a great life!

—— Dear Ex-Husband,
Nothing has made my day more than receiving your letter. It’s true you & I have been married for 7 years, although a good man is a far cry from what you’ve been. I watch my soaps so much because they drown out your constant whining & griping Too bad that doesn’t work. I DID notice when you got a hair cut last week, but the 1st thing that came to mind was ‘You look just like a girl!’ Since my mother raised me not to say anything if you can’t say something nice, I didn’t comment. And when you cooked my favorite meal, you must have gotten me confused with MY SISTER, because I stopped eating pork 7 years ago. About those new silk boxers: I turned away from you because the $49.99 price tag was still on them, & I prayed it was a coincidence that my sister had just borrowed $50 from me that morning. After all of this, I still loved you & felt we could work it out. So when I hit the lotto for 10 million dollars, I quit my job & bought us 2 tickets to Jamaica But when I got home you were gone.. Everything happens for a reason, I guess. I hope you have the fulfilling life you always wanted. My lawyer said that the letter you wrote ensures you won’t get a dime from me. So take care.

Signed, Your Ex-Wife, Rich As Hell & Free!

P.S. I don’t know if I ever told you this, but my sister Carla was born Carl. I hope that’s not a problem.

Holidays in 1 Day !!

It's soooo close to the holidays ! One more day to go !

I just came back from my sister's musical performance and to be honest it wasn't that good.....): But I thought the kids were soo cute and since it was at my old school, it brought back many happy and sad memories of being in that very same hall tonight. :D

Saw some people that I haven't seen in many years and said hi. That was the good part. The performances were quite cute but the only problem was that you couldn't hear the people sing. :P

At school today, we had a Year 12 Graduation Assembly which was really heart-felt. So best wishes for those in the future <3 If you are ever going to read this. :P We bought Ovalteenies which are really nice since I hadn't eaten them in YEARS. Funny conversation on Tuesday with a friend that we tried to get some Ovalteenies off her :

Me : Hey Julia ( http://www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com/ ), do you want to ask ______ whether or not we can have some Ovalteenies?
Julia : YEAH !
Me : Let's write it on a post-it note. ;D
Julia : *hands me post-it notes*
Me : *writes : HEY, IF IT'S OK, CAN JULIA AND I HAVE SOME OVALTEENIES? IF THERE ARE ANY LEFT? THANKS*
_____ : *Passes back the note with the packet*
Julia and me : *gets really excited and reads the note which said : SORRY. ATE THEM ALL. *

She gave us the rubbish ==" How nice. :P

Anyways, tomorrow is the last day of school and I have a badminton competition on Sunday which I might not attend since my partner is in Adelaide? And she was the one who dragged me along =="

Anyhoo, love,
Michelle <3

Hayfever Anyone?

Haven't updated in a while. So this week is the last week of school before holidays again ! I've handed in my English essay on Monday which was a hassle since I only finished it on Sunday. Which meant I couldn't go to tennis last Sunday. ):

And I miss tennis this Sunday as well since I have this badminton competition.

I've been having really bad hayfever over these 3 days ( Monday, Tuesday and now Wednesday ). Must be really bad atmosphere. :P Took Zyrtec to help. (: It helps for 24 hours. So then I have to take it again. :P

Last Friday, I had my last Matrix coaching lesson for the term after Duke of Ed hike ( read my post here : http://ilikestarryskies.blogspot.com/2011/09/duke-of-ed-experience.html ) , and it was basically bludge. But so fun since we played games. Mostly dirty as well. :P

Nothing much to say, but a book review will be up shortly (:

Love,
Michelle <3

The Duke of Ed Experience (:

I came back from the Duke of Edinburgh hike on Friday afternoon so I'll recount what happened.

Day 1:
I met Julia ( http://www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com/ ) on the platform and we caught the train together to the place we were going to meet for Duke of Ed. I felt really awkward carrying such a large bag and holding my mat. :P

We got there on time, but the teachers were running behind schedule. ): So we didn't begin walking at 9:30am like scheduled, but we walked around 11:30 am ! Since it took such a long time till our turn ( the teacher had to explain the map and directions ) we crossed Princes Highway to go to the shops nearby. In IGA, Julia bought a bar of Cadbury Bubbly Dairy Milk Chocolate as emergency food. :P When we got back, we had to get our debriefing.

We were the 10th group to leave since we were allocated a group number. But once we were on the track it was fun. :D We walked and walked and walked. That's all I remember.

There was a point where we thought we missed a checkpoint so we freaked out. Lol. But then we passed a man and he said that further on there were other people so we walked there and turned out we didn't. There was a beautiful clear lake/pool of water at the checkpoint. Really beautiful and apparently you are allowed to swim in it, but we didn't. ): Though it looked really inviting. :D

A picture of it with me ( I'm covered :P ) :

LOOK AT THE POOL!
That was the first checkpoint. So after that, we kept walking and walking and walking all over again. Around the 3rd checkpoint ( after uphill climbing ): ) it was around 12:45PM and we wanted to have a lunch break, so we had a lunch break for about 10 minutes. So we started walking again.

When we reached a part called the 'Fire Trail' or something, the path widened out but the whole ground was covered in gravel and was uphill. ): So Julia and I started rapping to make us walk faster. And it worked ! Lol. After running out of raps to rap, we made up a really dirty rap together. Has anyone noticed that raps are either :
1) Really dirty-minded or
2) Contains many swear words in it. :P ???

So since we didn't want to swear, we decided to make it really dirty. We rapped about....the White House and stuff. :P Lol. So funny !

When we arrived at the campsite, it turns out we were the 4th group to get there ! Great progress ! (: As the teacher recommended, we immediately began pitching our tents up and we had to make some adjustments since the ground we chose didn't really suit the tent.

This is the inside part of the tent that was taken the next day when we were taking it down :P :

Once the tent was pitched, we chilled a bit inside and then we "explored" the surroundings. And we found that Wolli Creek was really close-by and we walked over there. Like the pool of water we saw earlier on the track, this one was a running creek. So Julia and I took our shoes off and played in the water. Well we weren't all the way in ( that came out wrong :P ), just our legs. :P It was so refreshing and good. Funny story :

* Julia is putting on my sock because she took the wrong shoe. Lol *
Me : Uhm...That's my shoe, Julia. :P
Julia : What? Pfft. No it isn't. *Looks down and at me and down again* OH CRAP! I'm so sorry ! Omg. *Hides face*
Me : *Laugh*

You won't believe how many times Julia has mistaken other things that belong to me, belong to her. OMG, that sounds wrong if you think about it. :P

So after playing around in the creek ;) we went to cook dinner, which was just cup noodles and other snacks. Everyone was freaked out by the stove. Lol. It was just loud. :P Heh.

Night :P :
It was one extremely long night.... Lol. People were running around and stuff - very distracting. Lol.

So after "dinner" we went to chill again. :D So we basically laid in our sleeping bags. And sat there. And listened to people outside. :P Then a friend came over and we chatted about this guy she likes loves for about 2 hours. Lol. It was really funny and ...fun. ! :P After she left, we tried to sleep. It was really early though - 8:30 PM.

After Julia fell asleep, I really had to pee, so guiltly I had to wake her up. ): So when we went to pee, it was really dark and all you could see was shadows. And it was cold. ): I brought my toilet paper. :P

Anyways, Julia's torch was really dark and pretty much useless and the toilets were really far away. So we just walked somewhere away from people, and urinated on the side of the road. :O Lol. Funny conversation after we were done :

Me : Oi! Julia ! Give me your torch because I want to see where we peed. ( Ok. I had issues obviously but I really wanted to know :P )
Julia : What the heck? Uhm...*turns on torch*
Me : *Point* Shine it over there! Omg, can you see it? I think it's over there actually. *Squats down to try and see better.* Let's check it tomorrow morning !

But I told Julia to take a picture of it the next morning. It was hard to find but the ones in the red circle is where we peed. Lol. Not that you would want to know :P

We went back to bed of course and my sleep wasn't that great - drifted in and out of sleep endlessly throughout the night. ):

Day 2:
So after "breakfast" ( which was dry cereal, or for Julia, cup noodles. Also tuna. (: ) we headed off again. This time, we were the 5th group that left.

By the way, a picture of our bags before we left ( when we were packing up the tent ) :

Blue is Julia's; Black is mine (:
Not shortly after the first checkpoint, it turned out we walked off the wrong track. The track we accidently went on was also taken by 3 other groups as well. :O But we found our way out. But not long after, I realised there was leech on my right ankle ==" And it was fat. Huge. Julia realised there was one on her as well but on her heel. Well that really long part ?? Her one was so small ): Luckyyyy! But the teacher following us turned up Lol.

So obviously, I hyperventilated because anything slimy and wriggly I can not stand. Ew. So I sat down and took out matches to try and burn it off. But once it fell off, it latched on again. ==" By then, we've already used half the box. :O So another suggestion since we didn't bring salt was to wait for it to suck it's share and fall off.

After about 10 minutes later, the leech still hadn't come off. And it was getting fatter. ): Maybe it had a grudge on me ): Of course Julia's one already fell off by then. Only took a matter of minutes for her one. :P Finally, the last group that went past had salt so we poured it on and it fell off. Slowly. ):

Once we started walking again, I was paranoid for the rest of the trip. And the overgrown bushes that kept scratching us everywhere didn't help ): I was so glad when we reached the end of the trip and went home. (:

Nevertheless, the trip was really enjoyable and memorable. Going to do the second trip on the 13-14th of October. (:

Love,

Michelle <3

Saturday 17 September 2011

I'll post my Duke of Ed trip once I have gotten photos from Julia ( http://www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com/ ). (: But this is what I did on Saturday ( yesterday ) I had Chinese school in the morning and it was the last lesson ! (: No tutoring for maths as well since I had to go to a wedding dinner after !

But I went shopping beforehand so I could grab some groceries. (: I bought 2 lipbalms since they were on special - 2 for $5. (:

And I bought a pen since I was running low on pens. :P

So I got changed and my mum made me wear this hideous dress ==" I usually never let my mum choose because she has really bad fashion advice. BUT she forced me to by screaming in my face. =="

We took the train to get to the Center Point Tower where the wedding dinner would be held. My sister took a picture of me on the platform. :P

(:

So we  arrived at Center Point Tower to the highest level. The scenery was amazing. Quite hard to take photos without the flash of the window glare but I managed. (:

(: Don't steal my pics. :P

I took a picture of the cutlery in front of me :

and these lollies which had the groom's and bride's names in them ( cute huh? (: )

and this was the bread and butter :

and the menu. :

The backs of the chairs ( lol ) :

I forgot to take a photo of the entrees. ): But for the mains, I did. :D There were two different ones.

 and the side ( salad ) :

And for desert there were two as well. But both tasted funky. :P :

Tonka Bean Brulee

Vanilla Panna Cotta with Red Wine Jelly and Blueberry Sauce

The wedding cake when it was being cut :

and the wedding cake to eat ! :

It was around 10:45pm by then so we thanked the bride and groom and left. By the time we got home, it was 11:30 PM. But I had to shower. So I went to bed around 12:40PM. :P

Congrats to Karen and Andy and best wishes for the future <3

Packed and ready for Duke of Ed tomorrow. I have to send some things to Julia ( http://www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com/ ) since my bag is way too heavy. Nothing to say much but I'm nervous.

Found a great song with Eminem and Bruno Mars which I love both. (:

Enjoy :

I told Julia it's great. She won't believe me, so listen and then tell me your opinions. ;)

LADDER STUPIDITY ft. Julia ;)

Today was usual. (: Nothing happened till lunch. After eating, Julia ( http://www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com/ ) and I thought....well I did. LOL. I thought it'll be fun to play with this ladder that was propped up sideways on the balcony. So I kept swaying it forward towards me with my foot. And then Julia joined in.

Julia : It's going to fall on us. Lol. What if it did?
Me : *No comment and then ladder falls on our feet - I pulled my feet out quick enough but not quick enough for it to scrape against my shin ): But Julia just stared at it falling. Lol. *
Julia : *stare at the ladder on her feet and I'm in pain from my shin and pull the ladder off her foot.*

Later on, when we were groaning and moaning about our legs :

Julia : I really need to rub it, it's so painful T_T
Me : Aw man, mine's too tender to rub. ):

LOL. And that came out wrong. :P And dirty. So please don't be stupid like me us and don't play with ladders ;) I have a large bruise on my shin now. ): Lesson not learned. (:

On the train today, I had a really bad stomache and I felt like I was going to faint. Again. So awkward. So I sat down and once I got home, I uhmm....felt better after some things. (:

I drank some salt water to bring my blood pressure back up. That's what my doctor told me to do. Lol. So if you're dizzy/feeling faint and the feet up method isn't working, try to drink some salt water because I felt fine afterwards. (:

So now I need to pack for Duke of Ed and I might make a post on what I pack. If I never pack today, I'll have to pack tomorrow (: I'll hopefully have time to make a last post tomorrow before I leave. (:

Saturday Shopping

Forgot to post up that I went shopping on Saturday for Duke of Ed stuff and other things. (:

I bought a shirt from Kmart for $5 - It's stripey. Took photos of it, but they do no justice so I'm not going to put it up. It's red and navy striped. (:

I also bought rather expensive sports tights for Duke of Ed since apparently leggings are perfect for the hike. I don't have a picture of them, since they look rather....lame. Lol. They were $35 but reduced to $28. (:

Then I got three other items I rather not mention or I'll get strange stares from people. (:

OAK ~

Hello y'all (:

It was Julia's ( http://www.littlemisscrayons.wordpress.com/ ) birthday on Sunday, so we went to this festival and 'celebrated'. Played on the Dodgem Cars, which was addicting. Our car broke down which was hilarious for other people, but pretty damn awkward for us. Lol.

Julia : What should we do?
Me : What can we do?
Julia : I don't know. *looks down at her feet*

(:

So today, I'm currently drinking Oak Chocolate Milk. My sister had half of it (:

OAK. And yes, I took the picture (:
Anyways, I have this Duke of Edinburgh hike on Thursday and Friday, so won't be blogging then. ): Then I have a wedding dinner to attend on Saturday.

So enjoy your days (:

Love,
Michelle <3

P.S. Just realised this is my 100th post. :O

Tag: Childhood Memories

I want to make a tag so yeah. Lol.

This tag is where you have to name four specific memories in your childhood that fall into the categories :

1. You'll never do it again.

2. 'What were you thinking' situation.

3. A happy memory ; can be anything (:
 &
4. The funniest memory.

So let's start. These memories are so embarrassing, no idea why I'm posting this up, BUT anyways !

1. You'll never do it again.

This is the most embarassing memory yet. And I haven't told anyone but my parents and my sister knows. Well I presume she knows. AHH. I don't know why I'm going to put this up. But ! So when I was around 10, my bestie came over ( well bestie at that time ) and we went swimming at the pool. And when we got home ( well my house ) we needed to shower since she was staying for dinner. She didn't want to shower by herself, so we showered together. YEP. Stark naked next to each other. DEFS NEVER DOING IT AGAIN. EVER.

2. 'What were you thinking' situation.

When I was about 4-5 years old, my childhood friend and I ( let's call him Fred. Lol. ) were playing in the house. We were stupid and I think it was kind of hot, and we thought it'll be funny if we removed our shirts. Ahem. And we were strutting around half naked in the house and everyone was like ==" PUT YOUR SHIRT ON CHILD. But not before my dad took a photo. And it's still there in my album. How embarrassing when people see it. :O Don't know what we were thinking, but young minds have issues. :P

3. A happy memory

So far, it's the memories I've mentioned are all related to my friends. Now this one is related to my family. :D I remember when there were little baby chicks that were for adoption at kindergarten, and each year, people would take them and pet them. I wanted some really badly but my mum kept saying no. So I was really really sad. But then the next year, I decided it wasn't worth to sulk about and I just watched people take the chicks away happily. But this time, I went home and I found a box of chicks at home. That was my happiest time when I got to play with them in the kitchen. Lol.

4. The funniest memory.

The funniest memory was when I was on my first day of kindergarten and my mum and I were lining up to be accepted inside. I saw when the children got there, they would cry and scream and kick and punch just to try not be separated from their parents. I asked my mum: 'Why are they crying?' And she said: 'Because they are being separated from their parents.' So I said: 'Well I'm not going to be like that.' But when I got there, I did the same; kick and scream and cry. Mostly crying. And now I think about it, that's hilarious. :P

So that's it ! I'm now going to tag Julia, Oliver and Amanda along with anyone else who is reading this. (:

Thanks for reading,

Michelle <3

Teacher's Strike Day = NO SCHOOL :D

This was actually taken by me - Don't steal my pics :P
No school today ! Which means I have to catch up on work. ):

This morning I woke up at 7:30AM which is quite early. Don't know why, but I can never sleep in that much. No idea why. :P So I woke up and did my maths homework before I went to brush my teeth. No idea why I did that either. :P

Had breakfast, and then did more work - Japanese, and Geography.

Just finished lunch now and it's around 2PM. Trying to do my Matrix Coaching homework, but nothing is getting into my head. ): I still need to finish my English website since it's due tomorrow. D: We have to use Dreamweaver and I'm completely clueless. ): So technologically challenged. Are any of you technologically challenged? Leave a comment :P

I finished my Geography video some time ago, but I don't think I should post it up here since there are some copyrighted material in it ; e.g photos and videos copied from Youtube ! :O But if anyone is interested I'll post it up. It's just boring. :P

I also finished my Japanese dialogue as well...but not posting that up since I don't think anyone here can understand Japanese? Lol. And there's lots of mistakes in it anyways.

Going to a fair in a park on Sunday to meet up with Julia and her taekwondo friends since they have to perform and stuff. I'm going to ride my bike there. :P Haven't riden my bike in a long time. It's her birthday on Sunday - so I'm going to give her present on Sunday rather than Friday. (:

That's it for now. (:

Thanks for reading !

Update No. 60 - Last Update for now :O

I'm not going to number my updates anymore. But I'll bring it back if I can't think of a good title. I think it's kinda drab with the title like that. :P

Anyways, today was a bit messy since I realised that I didn't bring my sports clothes back home to wash them and there's no school tomorrow, so they are going to STINK. Lol. Oh well.

And I ALSO realised that I forgot to ask Julia ( http://www.xxjuliaxx.blogspot.com/ ) for my ruler back. Oopsies. :O She was supposed to have a maths test today but then it turned out the teacher changed the date. :P

I have no photos today unfortunately. For lunch, I had this really nice pasta. I don't have a picture of it but it tasted cheesy and tomatoey and stuff like that. (: Really nice. (: Too bad I don't know the specific name for it. :O

I didn't have my flute lesson today since my teacher had training of some sort. I had badminton this morning though. Was fun, but didn't play with Julia since I had to train for competition which is soon. :O I'm getting nervous just thinking about it. :O

I'm going to include a picture from Google of badminton since I think this post is ugly with no picture. Lol.

So tomorrow, I'm going to catch up on my work, play some games ( omg, that sounds so wrong. :P ) and do more work. Lol. :P

Nothing to add at the moment.

Thanks for reading,

Update No. 59 - Teacher's Strike Day !

I haven't posted in about 3 days I believe? Can't be bothered to check - lol. I had my Elective History exam on the history of medicine today. It was ok, but I had several mindblanks during the time and I write slow. ):

ANYWAYS, I have Badminton Training tomorrow which is always fun ! That sounded so gay, but oh well. (: I don't have flute lessons tomorrow since the teacher had to cancel. At least I don't have to go to school on Thursday due to the Teacher's Strike for a higher wage.

OMG, found another Youtube video with the same girl. She raps so freaking fast. Watch below (:

Not much to say right now. Thanks for reading !

Michelle <3

Look At Me Now - By Chris Brown, Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne

I found this Youtube video on this girl who can rap all three parts really well. You can watch it below. (: I swear that she can do everything so perfectly !!!

IT'S FREAKING GOOD. :D Getting me inspired to try harder to learn the lyrics and rap harder. Lol.

Nothing much to say. (:

Thanks for reading this short post. :P

Update No. 58 - Bought some new books :D

I bought some books today. 4 to be exact. I went to Westfield to buy them at this Dymocks store. There was a separate stand outside somewhere and they had discounted books and there was a stand that said 4 for $20 so I got 4 books. (: A pretty nice bargain there. All the books I've chosen look creepy and action-packed so can't wait to read them. I only chose action-packed/bloody looking ones because the other 'happy' ones looked gay and boring. No offense. Lol.

Some pictures:

The Painted Man by Peter V. Brett - I have really high hopes for this. My dad told me there's a movie on this? :S

The Third Option by Vince Flynn. Looks action-packed since there's a gun in his hand. Lol

Blood Oil by James Phelan - I'm scared to read this. Lol.

The Griffin's Flight by K. J. Taylor. No thoughts on this. Lol.
If anyone wants to borrow one, tell me. (: But I think you guys don't like my kind of books. Lol.

Thanks for reading,
Michelle xx

P.S. I'm listening to 'Look at me now' and it's affecting my typing by making me type like a mad woman. :P

Update No. 57 - Tree Day !

Today was 'National Tree Day' where everyone hitches their shovels and gloves and gets on their knees to plant trees for a good cause.

Today was also 'Wear it Purple' Day where it encourages people to protest against no gay marriage.

AND it's also 'Legacy Day' today where people can donate to a charity for families affected by war victims.

So today was indeed a really busy and great day for massive change in society. Wow, this sounds like a documentary. So since it was 'Tree Day', the science teacher thought is was necessary to plant trees and learn about the ecosystem which is the next topic in science that we will be learning. Tree planting was really fun. Jane and I planted like about 50*.

*Number may have been exaggerated.

So when our class came back, it was end of lunch already and I went to Elective History. Thank goodness, that we didn't have to present our elective history presentation today. (:

I had geography after that and since the speakers were screwing up in the computer room, I didn't have to present it; so I'm presenting next week. :D Kinda happy but I wanted it to be over and done with. ): But that means more time to edit. :D Last night, I stayed up till 11pm just to finish it off ): Now it turned out it was all for nothing. D:

Went to Matrix today. It was hella fun with Julia ( http://www.xxjuliaxx.blogspot.com/ ) since we asked the teacher to do accents and the whole class started asking him to heaps. He was really good at all of them. He now is going to practise for French, South African, and something else I can't remember. His accents are hella GOOD. ! Big thumbs up and I wish I could do those accents. :P

Tomorrow, got Chinese lessons and maths tutoring.

Have a great weekend and thanks for reading,

Michelle xx
