Update No. 29 - HOLIDAYS !

Hey guys,

IT'S FINALLY THE HOLIDAYS :D. I feel so relieved but disappointed at the same time since I know that the holidays are going to pass really quickly. But it means more pictures/photos for you guys. (:

I'll just like to say hi to Grace and Jane which will hopefully look at this post sometime today or in the holidays (:

Today at lunch I had a beef burger and I took some photos before I finished the whole thing. I bought it at my school canteen for $5 but it was massive and I was really full after. It looks like junk food but it was really nice to eat ;P Some junk food here and there doesn't matter. :P

Excuse the bite marks since I JUST remembered to take some pictures of it after I bit into it a couple of times. Sorry ):

In history today we watched a movie named 'Paradise Road' which is a great movie and a bit graphic. After all, it's rated M :P Review coming soon. (:

Until next time,
Michelle xx

Update No. 28 - ONE MORE DAY TO GO!

Hey guys,

So today was a nice day. I signed up for 40-Hour Famine which is an event where you have to give up something for 40 hours which would take place on the 19th of August till 12PM on the 21st of August. I'm just gathering sponsers right now (: I'll let you know the outcome. I'm giving up food again this year. (:

Uhmm..I bought two bars of chocolate from Fundraiser sellers. These ones are really cheap. I bought both at $2.50 each and they are massive. Not as big as the supermarket ones but they aren't that massive. Lol.

Picture:

At lunch today, my friend Alisa (she has no Blogger - so you guys can't stalk her. I'm just kidding but she really doesn't have blogger :P) had croissants from her French breakfast and she wrapped one for her sister. And I thought it looked cute so I took some pictures of that as well. She used a stapler to staple the top if you're wondering why it's holding up so well. :P

That's her stapler next to it. I just thought this picture had a better angle. :P
Don't you think it's a spitting image of a pork bun? You know...the CHINESE ones? :P
So I forgot to mention that the girl that gave me the keyrings (Original post: http://ilikestarryskies.blogspot.com/2011/06/new-keyring.html), also gave me GUM (:

Picture of it:

I haven't tried it yet, so it's unopened. But my sister got one as well and she tried it and said it's really good and yummy tasting. Can't wait to try it out but I need to finish my 5 Gum first :P

I also forgot to mention that I have this really cute looking electric hot water bottle that my sister and I share to warm up our beds at night.

Picture:

Ain't it CUTE?!

But it's just a cover. The actual hot water bottle is inside:

And the hot water bottle cover feels really nice and soft and cuddly. (:

So many pictures in this post, I know.

All for the best,
Michelle xx

Update No. 27 - Musicale Performance

Hey guys,

So last night I performed at my school's Musicale. I don't have much to say since the performance, in my opinion wasn't that good. Our ensemble screwed up a lot of it. Hopefully, the audience didn't know. Lol.

What we screwed up:

1. The runs by the flutes (including me :P) which no one knew how to play properly which was our fault. Whatever :P

2. The trumpet wasn't there. So the part where she normally does her solo was empty. But then the French Horns were the loudest at that part but they played it weird.

But we shouldn't concentrate on the bad things (: I'm assuming the rest of the night went well since I left after my performance since there wasn't any point in staying. My mum watched (:

Until next time,

Kiss the Rain by Yiruma

Hey guys,

So one of the Youtube videos of Kiss the Rain which can be played below is a new favourite. (:

On one of the comments, it tells you to try this:

" 1. pause at 0:00
2. open new tab
3. go to Rainymood(dot)com
4. play this ^
5. love the sound "

And I tried it. BEST THING EVER. Just play the song when it's loading and it's really awesome. (:

Enjoy,
Michelle xx

Update No. 26 - Weirdest Dream EVER

Hey guys,

OMG YESTERDAY NIGHT (NOT LAST NIGHT) I HAD THE WEIRDEST DREAM EVER!! IN MY LIFE. I SWEAR. It was about the weirdest topic ever and it must be side effect of Alisa telling Julia (http://www.xxjuliaxx.blogspot.com/) what Ms McKay told them about childbirth.

Anyways, in my dream I was pregnant and there wasn't anyone there when 'it' was coming out. So I was screaming 'Mummy! Mummy!' but my mum wasn't there. So Julia and Alisa came along and took me to the 'hospital' by Julia holding my head and Alisa holding my legs.

So then they took me to the 'hospital' but in my dream it was a temple. And the temple had heaps of rooms but they were all empty. So they took me to a room with heaps of bunk beds with red bedsheets. I asked them: 'Why are the bed sheets red?' And Julia said: 'This is where people give birth' and Alisa added: 'And there's a lot of blood loss.'

And then I waited for a while and I remember having a lot of pain. And I was screaming: 'I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GIVE BIRTH! I DON'T KNOW HOW TO ):' But they just said: 'Just scream low pitched and everything will be fine.' So I was screaming like a man and when the 'father' arrived, the baby came out. Then I woke up.

The thing that Alisa told Julia and I was that if you scream low-pitched while giving birth, your diaphram will help you push the baby out, whereas if you scream high-pitched, you'll have a really painful birth.

Anyways, just thought it was interesting enough to tell you guys (:

Until next time,
Michelle xx

Movie Review No. 1 - Romeo and Julet

Hey guys,

So at school sometime, we finished watching 'Romeo and Juliet'. We watched the Baz Lurhmann's version which I prefer anyways. I like how it's really cliche and dramatized. I know some people don't like movies like that but I personally don't mind it.

The love theme/song from the movie is really good and is so sad. The song is 'I'm Kissing You' by Des'Ree. It's really good since it reminds me of the movie and the ending.
Listen to the song:

I found the ending really sad and found it hard not to cry to. I'm pretty sure all those Leonardo fans out there would totally dig this movie. *wink* I can't wink but whatever. :P

Rating: 5/5
Recommendation: YES. If you don't mind crying to tragedy love stories. Or if you love Leonardo Di'Caprico. Lol.

Don't watch it if you've just broken up with someone because you'll bawl out waterfalls. :P

Update No. 25 -

Hey guys,

So today the same happened at school - more things to do. Lol. Tomorrow night I have the school Musicale which I have mentioned before in my other post. I'll be performing tomorrow. Yay. I handed in my English Assignment Task but got another assignment set.

Nothing to talk about but I'll tell you which movies I want to see soon in the holidays when I have time:

Kung-Fu Panda 2:

Source Code (this one is old but I still want to watch it):

The Green Lantern:

I am Number Four (this one's old too):

That's it for now (:

Update No. 24 - Last week of School

Hey guys,

So this is the last week of school before the 2 week holidays start. My English assignment is due tomorrow and I need to work on it. Nothing much happened today. I skipped my Musicale rehearsal today since I didn't want to go. I sound so rebel but really, there wasn't any reason to go.

Musicale is an event held every year in our school where music is performed for families of the students that come to watch. However, you have to pay at the beginning and it's quite expensive. So I'm telling my parents not to come because there isn't much reason to. I'll just tell them to wait outside. Hehe.

So since this post is so boring without pictures or anything I'll add a random picture in which I took a long time ago (:

And yes they are roses. (: Heh. I took them early this year I think. Or last year....Which one do you like the most? Leave a comment below (:

New keyring (:

Hey guys,

[Mood: Procrastinating]
[Listening to: On my Knees by Jaci Velasquez]

So my dad goes to this school to learn English. He has this friend that has a daughter around the same age as me. So then she wanted her daughter to meet new people so her daughter gave my dad her email address and a keyring. It was really nice of her but I've never even met her O_O. Anyways, the keyring is really interesting. You can take out the star thing in the middle apparently. I haven't been able to do that yet but if I do I'll let you know.

Here's a picture of it:

There are 4 openings that help the star thing in the middle to get out. I should try to get it out (: Sometime ...and I'll blog about it if I do get it out (: Probably will take me ages.

Until next time,
Michelle xx

Update No. 23 - More shopping and emailing

Hey guys,

So today was my last Chinese school lesson for Term 2. We have 3 weeks holidays, but for school, we have 2 weeks. So one more school week to go/ 5 days to go!! So happy.

This morning, I decided to clean part of my bookcase to make room for more moo (only Julia would get that lol) otherwise known as other crap. And I packed for school and wrote a shopping list.

Update No. 22 - Music Workshop

Hey guys,

So today, I had this music workshop at school today since I'm in a music emsemble. This time (compared to last year's one), the workshop ended at normal school time rather than past school time which was cool to me. That meant it was cheaper this time. Double-win; get to go home early and also cheaper. :P Uhmm..the music workshop is where the music people get to have rehearsals with their emsembles and have a session of learning how to de-stress before a performance. At the end, we would have the traditional 'Drum Circle' where everyone forms a circle with all the percussion instruments near the centre with everyone to have one. There would be this man in the middle which 'creates' music for us to follow and it's really fun. If you have a drum/instrument to play. :P So we swap around half way through so we can change and have a turn each. So I got to have a turn on the swap.

I didn't take any pictures unfortunately. But we had pizza for lunch. It was Eagle Boys Pizza and my friend and I shared a pizza so we ate A HALF. We must be some big eaters. :P We got the Hawaiian which was cool with me. It was YUMMY. Probably making you guys hungry just thinking about it so I'll stop about food.

After lunch, we went to rehearse for 2 hours non-stop. That was tiring but fun. Uhmm....after that, we did 'Drum Circle' which I've already explained the concept of.

When I came home this afternoon apparently the cat vomited on the floor and part of my chair. So my sister had to clean it up since I hadn't come home by then. So when I did come home, I had to disinfect the floor because having vomit bacteria is gross. Lol.

Later this evening, I was feeding my cat's dinner when he got distracted and ran outside to see something. And I got curious so I looked and I kinda saw another cat's face. So I was like.. '?' and walked outside and this FAT UGLY RETARDED cat ran away as soon as I got outside. It probably comes every now and again to steal some of my cat's food since I always see his bowl empty. I feel so pissed at that cat. GO GET YOUR OWN. >(

Anyways, that was my day. Hopefully your weekend will be great.

Until next time,
Michelle xx

Update No. 21 - Julia's Gone ):

Hey guys,

So today begins the school days without Julia (http://www.xxjuliaxx.blogspot.com/). So there was more school today. Nothing special...AGAIN. But my friend played these really nice violin pieces for me but Julia didn't get to hear them. ): She played Tong Hua by ear which was really good considering how she was playing it by ear. I can't play ANYTHING by ear. Lol. And the other piece was 'Song from a Secret Garden' which you can listen to on Youtube as shown below.

Such a sad song. I remember at camp, Julia and I were listening to it on the way to and back from Bathurst and I fell asleep from this song so many times. It's like my lullaby or something. Such a great piece.

Anyways, I found this hilarious video on Youtube. It's about this owner of this cat that found it's cat BARKING at the window. And when it finds that the owner is watching it's like *look behind and go "*!@&*&#*(!&#*(&#" and starts meowing again.* Makes me think that maybe that cat is really weird. So you'll understand what I mean by watching the video. The cat actually sounded like a dog barking. Seriously. Lols.

Update No. 20 - My Sister's Athletics Carnival Results

Hey guys,

So yesterday, my sister went to her athletics carnival. I forgot to mention in my last update post; sorry. So I'll just like to say, well done on her results because REALLY they are much better than mine. Lol. So apparently these are her results:
100m - 1st
200m - 1st
800m - 2nd
100m Final - 1st
200m Final - 1st
WOW. Apparently she's going to Zone Athletics where she verses the winners of other schools in the area? Anyways, enough about her athletics carnival.

Today, I got my report marks which were kinda not very good. I didn't get straight A's which is sad since now I've broken my straight A record. Oh well. So I got 6 A's and a B for History since I did really bad for my half-yearly exam which dragged my mark to 77%. Oh well. Better luck next time. :P

Uhm..I had a Sweet Chilli Chicken Tender Roll today which is AU$4 and was YUMMY. Today was Julia's (xxjuliaxx.blogspot.com) last day in Term 2. She's going to Singapore tomorrow. How lucky. Haha. Well, have a great time and tell me when you arrive at Singapore. Have a safe and fun trip. I'll see you in the holidays when you come back. I wonder why I'm blogging this rather than telling her. Hmm.

So that's it on what happened today.

Until next time,
Michelle xx

Body Confidence

Hey guys,

So I've been inspired to do this post since one of my friends is body conscious and I want to just say how to get body confident. I'm no professional but I hope it helps.

Let's start with I'm not totally confident about my body either. I don't have the 'perfect' body nor does anyone else.

If you're sad that you don't have the 'perfect' body, DON'T be. Because everything you see in posters and photos and models, WHATEVER, most of these people have been Phototshopped, and you probably already know this and you want to 'believe' it but you can't. Hmm..that didn't make sense. Anyways, people like models have dieticians, and whatever other professional people out there do to keep bodies slim. Obviously, we're not models (unless you are one) and we don't live in a perfect world.

If you're scared to show your body when you're swimming (well WHO doesn't?), just think that you'd rather spend your day having the time of your life rather than worrying about what other people think about you. THEY sure aren't going to spend their whole day staring at you and your body with your swimsuit/bikini on and critisize every single little detail that's wrong with your body. They'd rather be swimming or doing their own business than worry about how another person looks. Hell, it doesn't matter to them. AND hell, they're not going to come over and say 'HEY YOU! YOUR ASS IS SAGGY'. So go and enjoy your life rather than trying to live up to other people's expectations.

You're scared to change in the change rooms with everyone looking on:
GIRL, get a grip. Everyone's busy trying to put on their OWN clothes rather than to look at your boobies, or your body or WHATEVER. They're trying to put on their clothes without showing their panties WHATEVER. Whatever the reason you feel insecure, you shouldn't. Just remind yourself that no one's looking. And trust me, if they are looking they won't have any thoughts. They're eyes will just pass over you and look at something else.

Try to eat healthy to feel great. Eating junk food and filling yourself up with things that aren't healthy is just going to make you feel worse about yourself and how you look. Exercise will help you feel better too. Not only the chemicals in exercise will make you happy, but also the fact that you're losing that extra cookie you ate is an extra.

The bottom line is: NO ONE IS PERFECT. Everyone comes in different sizes, shapes and this is what makes everyone unique. If you can't understand that (or you WANT to believe it but then you say BUT...blahblahblah) THEN GET THE WORDS IN YOUR MIND. Why waste your time? Looking at your body in the mirror and analyzing each part you hate is not doing any good. Instead of looking at your “big arms”, be thankful you actually have two full-functioning arms. Be THANKFUL you have a healthy body and drill it into your head that nobody is perfect. There is so much more important things to worry about in the world than your jiggly butt on the beach. I mean honestly. Just because someone else looks like that, doesn't mean you have to look like that as well. I mean, who wants to have twin bodies with another? Be unique and get CONFIDENT.

I hope this helped and yes, if it didn't (since there wasn't much advice but just preaching lol) just keep in mind that 'Nobody is perfect'.

Update No. 19

Hey guys,

You probably noticed this post has no title because it's always 'School again' and I couldn't think of another title, so no title today. So today, I had another sandwich which had a lot of stuff in it; tuna, avocado and lettuce. YUMMY!

Julia lent me her 'Matched' book today by Ally Condie who wrote the book, 'Looking for Allibrandi'. Click HERE for her review on her book. I'm going to start reading it soon and I'm telling her to bring 'House Rules' by Jodi Picoult because she told me she read it last year, and she wasn't going to give it to me...BUT she forgot so I'm going to get it before she goes to Singapore so I can read it during the holidays. That was one long heck of a sentence.

Maybe I'll write reviews on both books or something. I gave Julia piano sheet music today since she's starting piano again..maybe she mentioned that on her blog. Dunno. They are 'River Flows in You' and 'Love Me' which are both by Yiruma. You should check out his piano pieces, they're really good. 'River Flows in You' is actually featured as 'Bella's Lullaby' in Twilight.

The movies I want to watch soon are 'Kung-Fu Panda 2', 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part. 2' and 'The Green Lantern'. Hopefully they are good. AND I KNOW I HAVEN'T POSTED AN 'INSIDIOUS' MOVIE REVIEW. I didn't go watch it because the times didn't work out for us and I was too chicken to watch it myself. DON'T JUDGE MEE!!! Anyways, yeah. (:

Until next time,

Cry over this...

Hey guys,

So I've found a really sad thing to watch. It's in Korean but there are English subtitles. It's beautiful but you'll see what I mean once you've watched it. I literally cried my eyes out during and after watching this...and it broke my heart metaphorically. </3

The tune of the song he sings is Gabriel's Oboe which I can record for you guys if you want me to play it in flute...PLAY IT IN FLUTE? That's doesn't make sense. But I have the sheet music for it (:

Enjoy,
Michelle xx

Update No. 18 - School again ):

Hey guys,

So today, not much happened as usual, that's what I always say. I had a sandwich for lunch. Lol. Uhmm...I have a maths test tomorrow on Measurement and Geometry. Need to study soon. Sigh. And Julia's leaving for Singapore in two days!! So lucky; gets an early holiday :P And I'll be having my holidays after next week.

Well, listen to this song:

Or this version:

Update No. 17 - Commerce Project

Hey guys,

So you probably know that I went to Julia's place yesterday for Commerce project. Lemme tell you I forgot my camera ): And that sucked because Julia's camera can't take videos, well it can but it doesn't show up on the laptop/computer. So we scrapped that idea so we decided to polish up our script. And brainstormed more since we're not allowed to do any more work during class time because the commerce teacher got pissed that the class wasn't actually working on their projects...so much for that. So we brainstormed for ages and then we got kinda distracted and wanted to go shopping...I know we are such DORKS. Lol. So we were meant to go window shopping.....Oh wells. Lol

Update No. 16 - Nothing new :P

Hey guys,

I can't believe that I didn't post for about 2 days. But really; I didn't have much to say but: today was the same. Lol. So I'll update you guys now. Why do I keep calling you guys???

Anyways:
On Thursday I REALLY didn't do anything different but go to school and nothing really stood out to me.

On Friday, pretty much the same....OH I ate Callipo with Julia (xxjuliaxx.blogspot.com) since she didn't want to eat it by herself. Now that I think about it, WHAT THE HECK? lol.

Mini Callippo anyone?
Today (:
I went shopping, as usual. You probably know this already if you've followed me for a long time which probably is only Julia..How sad. Lol.

Uhmm...I got an A4 5-Subject Notebook which I got in Purple since Julia has a pink one (because she's Julia :P) and I didn't want them to get mixed up, an A5 Notebook (yeah I know Julia; I'm copying you..if you don't mind???) in Blue since Julia also has a pink one, a pen holder in Black from Typo for my paintbrushes (inside joke) with some uhmm...girl things.

OH. I also had a Chinese test today from Chinese school. Obviously it was easy but I don't know what I got yet. :O So I'll tell you guys probably next week which is the last week of the Term for lessons. (:

Apparently one of my family friends are coming over for dinner so I'll have to go soon to greet them. They haven't arrived.

Tomorrow is planned that I'm going to Julia's place for commerce project so I'll let you guys know how that goes (:

Until next time,
Michelle xx

Update No. 15 - Drama Day ):

Hey guys,

Today, it was Drama Day sadly. Which was when you perform the plays you and your group have produced over a period of time to a group of 2-4 judges/teachers and infront of the whole year. The play's meant to be centred around the "theme" which was Passion this year. It was so nerve-racking. But I'm so happy that I got it over and done with. But I did stumble over a few lines but after that, it went smoothly which I was happy about.

At lunch, Julia and I were eating our lunches outside the music rooms because we're not allowed to eat INDSIDE the music rooms which is a sucker since Alisa was practising her group performance and I wanted to watch lol. Anyways, a group of guys walked past (probably seniors) and FULLY intimidated Julia and me. So weird. They were talking about how they smelt nice food (probs from our pasta we were eating) and swearing their heads off about something. Oh; and they kept trying to make fun of us. Not going to go into detail but the awkward/funny thing was: Julia and I just stared at our pastas. Haahha. But then we ran away because we got so intimidated. Ha.

So now I need to get onto my maths homework which is due tomorrow and also I have to take sport photos tomorrow which needs to be done if you are in any sports group/dance group. So that's about it for today's update.

Until next time,
Michelle xx

Update No. 14 - Bought more crap.

Hey guys,

Unfortunately this time I don't have pics but yesterday (Sunday) my dad wanted to go to Rebel Sports to grab some sneakers for his soccer training or whatever he does. And I found a white polo shirt perfect for tennis training. It's just a regular one that'd you find anywhere and it was $10. It's was on clearance and it was a sample one but I didn't find anything wrong with it (: It's by NB Balance I believe.

Today, I also went to grab some things but unfortunately I don't want to mention them because it's inappropriate and all those perverted minds out there (including me), don't think they're condoms because they aren't ;)

Short post but just to update you guys (:

Until next time,

Update No. 13 - Athletics Carnival (:

Hey guys,

I'm so sorry for not posting yesterday OR on Friday so I'll fill you guys in on what happened.

On Friday:
So today (well not TODAY TODAY but that day), I went to my school's athletics carnival and Julia (xxjuliaxx.blogspot.com) and me both competed in the 400m and 800m races. The 400m was the most tiring and I came....not telling. Heh. But for 800m I came 5th which isn't bad...I hope. Julia and I actually made a video on her camera that day but for some reason they aren't showing on her computer when she connected the camera to her laptop which is strange. Maybe it's the formatting that the computer can't read. Strange.

Illusions.
After the athletics carnival I went home and I read 'Illusions by Aprilynne Pike' which is similar to Twilight; probably inspired, and it's a series about faeries. Not fairies but faeries. It's really interesting. I recommend it. So far my sister and I are collecting the whole series but now I'm waiting for the next one since I've finished the last 3 (including this one). The previous three were (in order) - Wings:

Wings.
And Spells:

Spells.
I highly recommend these books if you like love trianges, fantasy and a bit of action and violence. Not really a review but a recommendation.

On Saturday:
Went grocery shopping like I do every Saturday. Didn't do much. Uh..discussed the commerce project with Julia and Bob (I hope he won't kill me for mentioning his name? - Julia comment if he does :O). We don't know when we're actually filming (like specific date) but sometime in the holidays once Julia is back from Singapore.

Today:
Doing my homework. I really need to remember my parts for my Drama Day thing so I'll be doing that today and tomorrow. I've already finished my maths homework and still got to do my commerce, elective history and Japanese homework. So back to work now. I'll update you guys later (:

Until next time,
Michelle xx

Favourite K-Pop Songs At the Moment

Hey guys,

Just wanted to share with you some of my favourite Kpop songs I know and LOVE :) They aren't in any particular order.

I've probably mentioned this one before but I honestly LOVE this. And her voice is so angelic. In my opinion.
Nagging - IU ft. Seulong (2AM):

Why - 4Minute:
I My Me Mine - 4Minute:

As you can see I'm leaning a bit to 4minute. Heh.
Huh - 4Minute (you might have to skip to 0:28 until the actual song starts):

Bad Girl, Good Girl - Miss A:

This one isn't that catchy and I think the only thing that I love is the dance routine. Hahaha.

Run Devil Run - Girls Generation:

That's it for now (:

Enjoy,
Michelle xx

Update No. 12 - Athletics Carnival tomorrow (:

Hey guys,

[Mood: tired]
[Listening to: Nobody by Miss A]

So tomorrow, I'm going to be going to the Athletics Carnival like I said I would yesterday. The long weekend is soon so I'll be able to have some time to do things on Monday...or sleep in.

Nothing to say but Julia had to do her Science ICAS Competition and she didn't know so she got pwned by Mr. Harrison. I'll link that to you guys after she posts it ;) which is here: http://xxjuliaxx.blogspot.com/2011/06/update-no9-icas-science-competition.html

Until next time,

Update No. 11 - Another cold school day...

Hey guys,

My titles are getting boring since it's always 'School' related. I should think of something more creative. My athletic carnival is this Friday and I'm competing in the 15yrs 400m and 800m races. I know I suck at them but I'll just give them a go. Last year, Julia (xxjuliaxx.blogspot.com) forced me to join her in the 14yrs 1500m race which on the last lap she ditched me since I was sick and I couldn't run. And SHE CAME FOURTH! Well done lol...not for ditching me though. Ha. I'll let you know what we come after tomorrow's post or if I don't post tomorrow, the next post.

Didn't actually present the history assignment today. Dunno when I'm going to. Hmm. I had badminton training this morning and Julia didn't come (for some reason she's usually absent on a Wednesday...) so I versed and hung out with another girl named Jess. Heh, it was fun. Mostly footwork today. Apparently, Jess and I are going to do a badminton competition as doubles sometime in August, so stay tuned for that.

I just realised that the commerce project is due VERY soon, entries close 6th August and I'm assuming the commerce teacher wants it earlier than that. If we finish it, I might make a YouTube account if Blogger won't let me upload it just as a video, so I can show you guys on YouTube if Julia and her brother let's me. They probably won't which is a shame for you guys :P lol. I'll describe it if I can't.

Drama Day is even sooner than the commerce project; next Wednesday (WHY IS EVERYTHING ON WEDNESDAY?!) and we are SCREWED. Oh wells.

Did the Science ICAS Competition today. Was hard. Julia, watch out ;)

Until next time,
Michelle xx

Update No. 10 - Happy Chinese Festival :)

Hey guys,

Zhong zi; have you guys eaten yours yet? :P
So if you're Chinese, you probably know that yesterday was the Chinese Festival. I didn't write a post on it yesterday because I forgot I didn't celebrate yesterday, I actually celebrated it for about 10 minutes this morning by eating "zhong zi" for brekkie :)

At school today, I prepared my script for Drama Day which is a day at school where you perform a play for a specific theme. The theme this year for Year 9 is 'Passion and Love' based on Romeo and Juliet. It's next week Wednesday which is crazyyy since we have to remember our lines AND write the script and blah blah blah by then. Tomorrow, we have the Science ICAS exam which isn't bad since I don't really care for it. Last year, I believe I got credit which is like around a grade C lol.

I have to present my history assignment tomorrow which comes with the powerpoint presentation or something. So boring.

Anyhoos,
Michelle xx

P.S. Happy Chinese Festival which I'm sure I've already said.

How'd you guys celebrate Chinese Festival (unless you're not Chinese and you didn't of course or you were like me ;))? Leave a comment below :)

Update No. 9 - School...again :/

Hey guys,

Well, my blog is growing now with more posts and tags as you can see.

Today at school, nothing really special happened. I can say that Julia and my commerce project idea is starting to grow and we're starting to write the draft of how the video would be like. Next, we need to write the script, if there is any talking I mean. lol.

Thank you to Oliver (reminisceinnocence.blogspot.com) for giving us a gun (it's fake so don't worry lol) and sorry, I can't take a picture of it since I don't know if he even wants a picture of his gun on blogger and there isn't any light in the whole house since my dad's fixing it.

Well this is going to be one extremely short post compared to my recent long ones, and no I'm not watching Insidious anymore, since the time slot didn't fit with any of my friend's schedule's and I'm too chicken now so there won't be a review on that anymore. But when more movies come out, I'll definitely tell you guys and it might have plenty of spoilers in it. Ha.

Until next time,
Michelle xx

Update No. 8 - Yr9 Camp

Hey guys,

So I said I was going to blog about my camp so here's the post, but beware, there's going to be a lot of videos and a lot of photos. If anyone finds themselves in one of them and want it removed for privacy reasons, I will happily replace it with something else (:

Day 1:
The whole Yr 9 of __________School went to Bathurst and Cowra from the 1-3rd of June 2011. When we were waiting at school I took a picture of Alisa (but you can't see her face, just her Domo-Kun - thumbs up if you love him too):

Tell me if you want this removed :)
Once we were on the coaches, me and Julia (xxjuliaxx.blogspot.com) listened to her iPod and played Rhythm Heaven on her awesome new 3D DS.

Aren't they CUTE?
The songs we listened to (these are only some of them):

Tong Hua Cover by Jason Chen and J Rice:

If You Stay by Joseph Vincent:
Fields of Hope by Rie Tanaka:

And some Korean songs, that I know the names not of. Eventually we'll fall asleep with all these slow and nice songs. On the way, we ate Naturals Dinosaurs and Berry Blisses:

So those were really nice. We went to Zig Zag Railway Station, and guess what? They're platform leads to HOGWARTS :D

I hope you guys understood that
After a while on the steam train (which I didn't take a photo of; nor did Julia), we found this awesome looking telephone booth:
Yes, that's me.
Julia and I took many different photos of it and with it which was hard since everyone in the year was trying to get a shot of it. We also had our lunch there. We then went to Mount Panorama, which had amazing views:

I didn't do a panorama as the name suggests (this photo was taken by Julia).
Next, we went to the place we were going to stay in (which I've already been in Yr5 I think) named the Bathurst Sheep & Cattle Drome:

Acknowledgement to Julia for taking the photo.
They're food was really good, especially for dinner. They're lunch was crap. Literally. That was mean, but it really didn't taste very good.

That day, I took a photo of the sunset because I thought it was beautiful:

Isn't it pretty?
Julia and I actually jigged the event after dinner which was the Bushdance, but it was basically just the modified Chicken Dance, if I remember correctly from Yr5. Plus, we've already showered and we didn't want to dance in PJ's. lol.

Day 2:
We went to this Japanese Garden which also had really pretty and gorgeous plants:

I like this one the best (thanks Julia for your awesome photography).

There, I got from the souvenir shop, a Japanese doll keyring for both me and my sister. I didn't take a picture of my sister's one since I've already given it to her so this is mine:

We also each bought a Streets PaddlePop Frozen ChocolateThick Shake since it was cheaper than Sydney's one by a dollar:

Picture is crap, since it's from Google. lol.

On the same day, we went to this museum called the 'Ages of Fishes Museum', which we didn't bother taking pictures of since it was BOR-ING. No offense to those who enjoyed it and to the place itself. That's where Julia, Alisa and I got out mood rings and they were $3.80 each. We pretend it's our "friendship ring".
It looks so awkward; just PLONK on my table.
We went back to the "Drome" and did whatever. Julia and I also took pictures of the sunset:

We also went around the place and went to the Animal Nursery place which had heaps of animals. Julia and I actually shot a video there but Julia doesn't want it to be placed on the blog so I can't show you guys. We also played with this dog named Jess which was trained and we didn't even know we weren't allowed to go there. Oops.
Day 3:
This was our last day and we were packed and ready to leave. We didn't even get to say bye to Jess *sniff*. On the coach, Julia and I mostly ate and listened to her iPod. We arrived at another museum named 'Fossils and Minerals Museum', which we didn't take any pictures of either. Julia and I were so tired (late night :P) we nearly fell asleep in our 'mini-lecture' on something. Meh.

The rest of the day was the trip home where we also ate Julia's packet of Red Rock Deli chips she bought from ZigZag railway station.

Anyone hungry?
We also ate our apples that we received as part of our lunch. We arrived home happy but tired.

End of camp story.

Until next time,
Michelle xx

P.S. That was a really long post, don't you think? :P

Update No. 7 - Went Shopping today :)

Hey guys,

So you already know I went to camp for that last 3 days and I'll post about that later as I'm waiting for my other friend (xxjuliaxx.blogspot.com) to send me some pictures because I've used her awesome camera to take some memories to share with you :)

Anyways, today I went shopping and you guys already know I'm on a clothing ban, BUT I found a great hoodie so I broke my ban ): But I'm still glad I got it. I also went to Morning Glory to grab a few GREEN things for my friend whose birthday is on Monday. And she LOVES the colour green, because she's just her. So I grabbed some things that she'll hopefully like and I also got one pink pacer because my old one broke and I've been using my sister's for about 2 weeks and I'm scared she's going to get pissed. Lol.

So while my mum and I were shopping, we went into this asian shop (that sounded so racist) and this lady came up to me and asked if my hair was natural or dyed. Obviously, I said it was natural and she said she wanted to dye her hair brown and she said my hair was a really nice colour and she was going to ask what dye I used. That made my day really happy...hahahah and I liked that lady :)

Anyways, so here's my hoodie which I got from Cotton On. The colour on the monitor might not be that correct (it looks red but it's actually a really nice coral colour) and the picture doesn't give it any justice since it's contrasting with my bedsheets.

Love the design :)
It's really warm so I love it :) I haven't washed it yet so still brand new. It was on sale, and the original price was $29.95 and it was reduced to $20.97, which it still pretty expensive.

A bit dark but hope you can see :)
The birthday present I got was (I hope she won't see this):

The pink thing is mine, the green things are hers...or will be :)
That's it for today, and I'll post about my camp, and model the hoodie and the denim jacket soon.

Until next time,
Michelle xx

P.S. If you want a closer look on the pictures, click on them :)
